Halloween Fleur de Halloween is a musky floral woody fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this composition was created by Carlos Benaïm, Nicolas Beaulieu and Olivier Polge. The top notes reveal violet leaves, pear and mandarin; the heart unfolds lilac, sambac jasmine and orchid; while the base notes settle on cashmere wood, musk and amber.

  • Absolutely stunning! A fresh, enveloping floral explosion. The lilacs and tangerine are very prominent, and the whole perfume is wrapped like in a powdery layer that makes it last a long time and leave an incredible trail. It’s ideal for any occasion and age, though I absolutely love it for summer afternoons; its watery scent evokes the freshness of the sea, summer days and leisure. In some notes it reminds me, as a background, of the original Halloween, which I also love; although this has a spicier, more flirtatious and daring touch, without the aura of mystery of the original. Halloween Fleur is flirtatious, fresh, lively, cheerful and full of personality. A fantastic creation.

  • Very floral, slightly more woody than the Lanvin Pretty Face. You can feel that classic Halloween base, just as it should; it seems to have excellent fixation, but for a Halloween scent, it lacks notes of banana or some other special fruit found in perfumery.

  • Although the floral load is quite noticeable, on my skin the tangerine’s citrus notes really stand out. It’s very long-lasting, I truly love it, leaves a refreshing scent and can be worn daily as it’s not the slightest bit cloying.

Surprises suddenly arise. I bought this perfume based on this page and its reviews. Wow! Rarely have I been so pleasantly surprised. As the name suggests, it’s a Flower: VIOLETS, LILACS, JASMINE AND ORCHID is what stands out on my skin. At first, its opening is slightly ‘sour’ and acidic, but don’t be alarmed, it feels wonderful; those flowers become powdery, almost earthy. And suddenly it envelops you with all the innocence, purity and tenderness of this perfume. I feel the watery touch in its dry-down; it’s a very peculiar perfume in a world full of gourmand fragrances, I confirm it feels VINTAGE. I got it in Mexico at Soriana for $489 MXN. The bottle is gorgeous, the atomiser is very good. It has quite good projection and trail, and the longevity is excellent. But if you don’t like florals or perfumes that turn powdery, pass. It’s a very tender perfume. I loved it.

It fixes superbly. It’s floral with a creamy touch that makes it soft to apply, very rich, and the bottle looks gorgeous.

  • Absolutely brilliant! A fresh, enveloping floral bomb. The lilac and tangerine are incredibly prominent, all wrapped in a powdery layer that gives it incredible longevity and a stunning trail. Ideal for any occasion, though I absolutely love it for summer afternoons; that watery note evokes the sea and summer leisure. It reminds me faintly of the original Halloween, which is also my favourite, but this has a spicier, more flirtatious and daring edge without the first one’s mystery. Halloween Fleur is flirtatious, fresh, lively, cheerful and characterful. A fantastic creation.

  • Wearing it today under this fantastic full moon of 14/11/16. It’s discreet and charming, perfectly suited to this spring-like night with warm temperatures here in Montevideo, Uruguay, South America.

  • Mmm, you smell like the 1950s. For me, it’s one of the best compliments one can receive because I adore vintage. It’s an elegant, creamy, talcum-scented perfume. With classic reminiscences without resembling any other perfume I’ve tried. It leaves a mark and makes itself noticed without being invasive. If you’re looking for something romantic, comfortable yet chic and different, this is your perfume. It seems a mature perfume with personality. I think it’s ideal for Autumn/Winter. The price is very affordable, the fixation is very good and the trail too.

  • Floral with class and distinction. It’s not a floral juice where the components are indistinguishable; here the lilac and jasmine drive the composition and extend the longevity for about six hours. Very feminine and nothing intrusive for the surroundings. An excellent option for spring.

  • The little bottle is gorgeous; I’m fascinated by that purple colour. It’s floral, woody and talc-like, as if you were walking in a forest smelling of wet wood. It’s quite strong and lasts all day on me. Nothing like traditional Halloween, but I’m fascinated by it and highly recommend it.

  • I read the reviews, saw the pretty bottle and tried it. I’m glad I did before buying: on my skin, the opening was unpleasant. I didn’t detect the pear or tangerine, only flowers with a heady jasmine note that created an unpleasant aroma. Blame it on the pH! It lasted 4-5 hours before evolving into something sweet, not cloying, I believe amber with musk. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but it simply didn’t work on my skin. A pity because it has good longevity, it’s lovely and the price is very reasonable.

  • I’ve seen plenty of praise, but at 18 it was a complete disaster for me. Perhaps I’m not a fan of ozonic and aquatic scents (which make it unisex), and on my skin I could only detect those notes. The floral aspect sounded very artificial, like a man’s deodorant such as Old Spice with salty and floral notes… it really isn’t for me. Apparently, it’s no longer available; well, I have a full bottle left in case anyone wants it HAHAHA

Very few perfumes make me nauseous or are simply detestable, but this Halloween Fleur is exquisite and elegant. The one that repels me is another: it tickles my nostrils and almost makes me sneeze. This scent is tender, talc-like and floral, reminiscent of Prada Candy. It brings to mind Donna Karan’s Cashmere Mist, almost identical. It’s a delight, although it doesn’t last long and its trail is faint. It doesn’t matter; it’s a pleasure for that powdery tenderness with discreet elegance.

  • It’s very long-lasting, but for some reason on me it smells very heavily of anise, even though it’s not in the formulation. It’s nice, but after half an hour it becomes annoying, so I’ll be giving it away.

  • Having this perfume compared to a Guerlain flanker is ‘mind-blowing’ for me. It’s Halloween, the low-cost fragrance found in all perfumeries and the first women’s perfume for young girls… And indeed, it smells of flowers, distinguished flowers, even elegant ones… Curiously, it’s not much liked; it’s like a strange classism since the brand is popular and affordable, yet the flowers are perceived as an old-lady smell, like a vase of flowers. Well, Fleur was created by Olivier Polge, Chanel’s nose, and we know the loves and hates such fragrances generate.

  • giselistica

It’s sweet, floral, spiced and slightly creamy. Nothing like this has smelled before; I thought it was youthful but it turns out to be mature, nocturnal and distinguished. It’s better suited to cold climates. I quite liked it, though I imagined something else – I thought it carried roses, but it’s nothing like the original or the other flankers.

  • Serenaberecoechea

It’s the only one my boyfriend, who doesn’t usually like perfumes, told me ‘wow, you smell delicious’. On me, it smells like caramel mixed with sandalwood; the lilac, jasmine and pear are very noticeable. It’s exquisite, with admirable sillage and longevity – simply spectacular.

  • On my skin, the mandarin takes over – very citrusy with little floral notes. Hours later, it leaves a soft, sweet trail with plenty of cashmere wood and musk. Longevity is at most four hours; sometimes it’s imperceptible unless someone hugs you. I prefer wearing it after a shower as it lasts a bit longer, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • Atelier1920

Mmm, you smell like the 1950s. For me, that’s one of the best compliments anyone can pay me because I adore vintage. It’s an elegant, creamy, powdery perfume with classic nuances that doesn’t resemble any other I’ve tried. It leaves a mark and makes a statement without being intrusive. If you’re looking for something romantic, comfortable yet chic and different, this is your perfume. It seems like a mature fragrance with personality. I believe it’s ideal for Autumn/Winter. The price is very reasonable, and both the longevity and sillage are excellent.

Based on the reviews and the beauty of the bottle, I wanted to try it. I’m glad I did before buying it, as on my skin the opening scent displeased me greatly: I never perceived the pear or even the tangerine, only the flowers where the jasmine predominated and I don’t know which of the others, together, emitted a rather unpleasant aroma… Things of pH! That scent lasted 4-5 hours before giving way to a sweet scent afterwards, not cloying, I think it was the amber with the musk. Anyway, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but it didn’t work on my skin. Pity because it has good longevity, it’s lovely and the price is very good.

Full powder aroma, vintage, sophisticated, innocent, and even angelic. Talcum-like flowers, exquisite and cheerful. This perfume accompanies you throughout the day; a mere three sprays last all day. My mother received it as a gift, and I used it for about two years, applying it when leaving for work and still smelling it upon returning. Its durability and quality are superior to its price; in Chile, you can find it for 19,000 pesos in perfumeries. Halloween Fleur is a GEM.

  • Another discontinued fragrance. What a shame, I was just hoping to get back to it. It was a powdery floral, very lovely, with good staying power.

  • Suddenly, there are surprises. I bought this perfume based entirely on this page and its reviews. Wow! Rarely have I been so pleasantly surprised. As its name suggests, it’s a floral: violets, lilacs, jasmine, and orchid stand out on my skin. At first, the opening is slightly ‘sour’ and acidic, but don’t worry, it develops beautifully; those flowers become powdery, almost earthy. Suddenly, it envelops you with all the innocence, purity, and tenderness of this scent, while I detect an aquatic note in its dry down. It’s a very peculiar perfume in a world full of gourmand fragrances; I confirm it feels truly VINTAGE. I found it in Mexico at Soriana for 489 Mexican pesos. The bottle is gorgeous, and the atomiser is excellent. It has good sillage and projection, and the longevity is outstanding. However, if you don’t like florals or powdery scents, look elsewhere. It’s a very tender perfume. I loved it.

  • Floral with class and distinction. It’s not a flower juice where it’s impossible to distinguish components; here the lilacs and jasmine lead the composition and extend its longevity to a good six hours. Very feminine and not intrusive for the surrounding environment. A great option for spring.

  • This is the only Halloween perfume I like; it brings me childhood memories, smells like a new doll, it’s such a feminine fragrance, slightly talcum-dusted with a vintage touch. It’s a pity they discontinued it because its performance is very good.

  • Perla Vencis

If you’re looking for a delicate violet aroma, you’ll find it here. This beautiful liquid fits very well into the three Bs (well, good, beautiful, and cheap). Halloween Fleur, as its name suggests, is a fine floral essence where violets and lilacs stand out with flashes of jasmine and orchid. Its opening is citrusy due to the tangerine and sweet from the pear, but what remains on your skin is a talcum-dusted lilac and violet scent. It might remind you of Guerlain’s Idylle duet jasmin-lilas. The longevity on my skin is 8 hours, with a low sillage. It’s a versatile fragrance for any season and occasion, from casual to formal. Although the bottle is very similar to the 1997 Halloween EDT, the liquid in ‘Fleur’ is yellow, while its predecessor’s is purple. I met it less than a year ago, I’ve liked it very much, and I’ve already started using my second bottle.

  • soleburgos99

I see many good reviews, but the truth is I had this perfume when I was 18, and it was a total disaster. Perhaps because I’m not much of a fan of ozonic and aquatic scents (which make this fragrance unisex), and on my skin I felt that mainly. I sensed the floral note as very artificial, like putting on a men’s deodorant type Old Spice, but with salty notes mixed with flowers… really it’s not for me. Apparently, it’s discontinued; well, I have a full bottle in case anyone wants it HAHAHA.

  • As I read before, it smells like a new doll. At first, I like it, but after a while, I feel slightly repulsed by it. It’s one of the perfumes that gives me a very strong allergy, although over time it becomes soft and very subtle.

  • It’s not a bad scent; it’s pleasant and floral with lots of lilac, talcum powder, and a soapy touch from the amber. However, I feel it lacks personality and strength; I could live without it, even though I adore talcum-based perfumes. It’s not unpleasant and gives a clean impression, though I think the original Halloween is a better option and has never been surpassed by so many flakery perfumes I’ve tried. The only downside is that on my skin it lasted almost nothing, and although it’s not expensive, one expects it to last hours. Fleur is discontinued, but it can still be found in some shops in Chile; look hard because prices have risen significantly in retail stores.
