Descripción

Her Secret by Antonio Banderas is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2012, the nose behind this composition is Sonia Constant. The top notes reveal wild strawberry, bitter orange blossom and grapefruit; the floral heart is built around jasmine and neroli, while the sweet and woody base completes the olfactive pyramid with cedar, vanilla and benzoin.

  • Similar to the men’s version, softer and slightly floral. After a few hours, it smells like Mugler’s Angel but with much less projection.

  • It feels quite masculine; they overdid the leather notes, a pity, because it’s not bad.

  • It feels very masculine; they’ve overdone the leather notes, a pity because it’s not a bad scent.

  • Smells like something Kipling unleashed on men over three decades ago. I’m not bothered by it; in fact, I feel great wearing it.

  • It smells masculine; it reminds me of something Lagerfeld launched over 30 years ago. But I don’t dislike it; I feel good wearing it.

I loved it! It’s a matter of taste. I don’t feel it’s masculine, yet men are hugely attracted to it. My partner, my father, my brother, and my friends all ask about it, saying it’s irresistible. Women aren’t entirely sure why they find it slightly repelling. In my case, it gives me character, vigour, and fervour. I feel like an empowered woman, as it is a fragrance totally outside the ordinary.

I loved it! It’s a matter of taste. I don’t feel it’s masculine, but men are very attracted to it. My partner, father, brothers, and friends all ask me about it, saying it’s irresistible. We women find it slightly repelling; I don’t understand why. In my case, it gives me character, vigour, and fervour; I feel empowered. It’s totally unconventional.

  • You’re right, it smells like a man. It has a touch of my grandfather’s cologne, but it’s not bad. I love men’s perfumes, so what if they say it’s for men? Although I have been mocked for liking it… Anyway, it smells good on my skin, though I wouldn’t buy it. There’s a note that doesn’t quite fit. It smells like men’s cologne with a very faint, synthetic hint of vanilla and jasmine. The trail and longevity are average, but for that price, it’s worth it.

  • I agree, it smells masculine. It has a touch of my grandfather’s cologne, but it’s not bad. I love men’s perfumes, so what does the target audience matter? People mock me for liking it, but I enjoy it on my skin. I wouldn’t buy it, though, as there’s a note that doesn’t fit. It smells like men with synthetic vanilla and jasmine. The trail and longevity are average, but it’s worth it.

  • It’s not super feminine, nor is it masculine. On my skin, it works well; the longevity and trail are top-notch for the price, lasting longer than expensive brands. The deodorant does smell masculine, so I wouldn’t use it (I don’t use deodorant as it ruins the perfume).

  • I tried it and felt sorry for myself; it was a mistake. I used it twice and it gave me a terrible headache. I gave it to my mother, and as soon as she sprayed it, the discomfort returned. She won’t use it again because it happens to her too.

  • I owned it and must say that (for me) buying it was a mistake. I used it only twice, and both times I suffered an unbearable headache from its smell (I knew because I gifted it to my mother, who wore it out; upon smelling the fragrance, the discomfort returned). I don’t know why this happens, but even my mother no longer uses it, as she tells me it affects her in the same way.

I tried it on my skin and it fixed well; a sweet and simple scent, nothing extravagant. I will buy it.

  • I find it easier to choose a perfume for a man than for myself. Because I feel that most men’s fragrances smell delicious. And the truth is this one has a touch of a man’s perfume. It’s right on that borderline of almost being one. But if it manages to retain femininity, I feel it’s for a woman with character and personality. In fact, men will love it and so will we. I recommend you try it. Note, they have a very good price in the market, and I don’t know if that’s why it lacks longevity.

  • I didn’t like it. It seems like a man’s or an old lady’s perfume. I received it as a gift, but the scent is so strong I never managed to use it.

  • I didn’t like it; it seems like a men’s perfume or one for an elderly lady. I received it as a gift, but the scent is so strong that I never managed to wear it.

  • I agree with the majority; I feel the fragrance is masculine and didn’t like it…

  • I have it; I liked it. It smells of flowers, is delicate, and didn’t seem very masculine to me. I bought the blue one, Her Secret Night; that one is simply beautiful!!! I love it, the best by Antonio.

I adore it. It’s clearly unisex, what a shame it doesn’t last long. I also regret that when it doesn’t suit someone, they say it ‘smells like an older lady’; that’s disrespectful.

I love it. It’s clearly unisex, a pity it has poor longevity. I also deeply regret that when a fragrance isn’t liked, people say it ‘smells like an old lady’. It’s disrespectful.

  • I love it; I bought it for my girlfriend. At first she found it strange, but in no way is it masculine as people say. She wears it to work and has received good comments. Sincerely, it gives me very pleasant feelings when she wears it; if it had better sillage, it would be a great option. The strawberry and vanilla are quite noticeable and… that’s it, haha. I think it’s fairly unisex, something I would also wear on an elegant sporty autumn night.

  • I love it; I bought it for my girlfriend. At first, she found it strange, but it’s not as masculine as people say. She wears it to work and has received good comments. It gives me very pleasant sensations; if it had better sillage, it would be a great option. You can detect the strawberry and vanilla, and… that’s it, haha. I think it’s unisex; I’d wear it on an autumn night with elegant sportswear.

  • I tried the EDT as I was given a sample at my usual perfumer. Normally I steer clear of fragrances with artists’ names, what with my prejudices! Although perhaps that’s unfair… I liked the opening: I detected citrus, flowers (my runny-nosed self can’t distinguish jasmine, rose or freesia when they’re soft, please don’t ask me to identify them…) and vanilla. I enjoyed that for the first three hours. By four hours, the scent had changed: it felt masculine. At seven hours it still sits close to the skin. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s not to my taste. Could it be the cedar and benzoin? I don’t know, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself. Fortunately, it’s just a sample. Anyway, I’d like to try the blue flanker to see how the experience differs with that ‘Her Secret’ variant.

  • I tried this Eau de Toilette because I was given a sample at my usual perfumerie. Normally, I don’t even approach fragrances with artists’ names (like those by Antonio Banderas, Shakira, Britney Spears, Rihanna, etc.), what with my prejudices! Although perhaps they are just that… :/ The opening pleased me. As with everything, it depends on personal pH; at first, I sensed the citrus fruits, the flowers in general (my runny-nosed nose barely distinguishes jasmine, rose, or freesia unless they are intense; please, don’t ask me to identify other flowers…), and the vanilla. I liked the scent. That lasted the first three hours. However, by the fourth hour, the smell changed: a masculine note became apparent. By the seventh hour, it still smelled this way close to the skin. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s not to my taste. Could it be the cedar and benzoin? I don’t know, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself. Luckily, it was just a sample. Anyway, I’d like to try the blue flanker to see how the experience differs with that ‘Her Secret’ variant.

At first, it smells deliciously feminine, but after two hours it turns bitter and masculine due to the cedar. I liked it, but I wouldn’t buy it again because of that dry-down; I even put the little keychain away.

  • I also find it a bit masculine at first, but it’s acceptable. It doesn’t last long, but it’s quite good value for money.

  • It’s not for everyone. At first it’s very woody and can be strong. But over time it smells good: vanilla, floral and it even reminds me of coconut. Although the trail is soft, I’ve been told it smells nice. It has good value for money.

  • Tinaperfumada

At first it smells very masculine, almost like Black XS, which I hate 😂😂. I’m not a fan of unisex woody scents. When it dries down the vanilla is noticeable but very faint. As for longevity, 😞 it lasts five hours and I have to reapply. But for a celebrity fragrance it’s decent. And the price? Don’t even get me started.

  • I’ve had so many bottles I can’t remember them all; it’s beautiful, gorgeous and unique. I love it <3

  • It steps out of the usual feminine mould. It’s not masculine, but it leans towards unisex, which I like. The strongest note is cedar, then wild strawberry peeks through, followed by a floral touch and a vanilla that doesn’t really stand out. Overall I liked it, although I prefer its other versions. It works well on fresh days because in winter it fades quickly, but the cedar with the floral air goes well on mild days. It lasted three hours and then only on the skin, but for the price it’s fine.

It’s lovely; it smells like a powerful woman’s fragrance due to the wood but soft thanks to the fruit, like a mother’s hug.

  • I love it! Yes, it has a masculine touch. My boyfriend tried it and it suits him perfectly. To me, it smells sweet, creamy and floral, ideal for autumn. I’m not bothered by the masculine note at all.

  • I tried it and at first I didn’t think it was unisex, but now it smells like a man’s fragrance. It gives off mystery and seduction, with that strawberry sweetness and lots of wood. It’s for winter, suitable for day, but I enjoy it more at night.
