Hello! I’m not good at describing fragrances, but I have to say I love it. It has a scent that people around me notice; they’ve even asked for the name so they can buy it. Plus, it has a good trail. I’m pleased with the purchase and will buy it again.
Wow, I bought it with little hope due to the low price and was hugely surprised. It’s an excellent low-cost perfume: sweet, caramelised, warm, a total delight. Very happy with the purchase.
After a month with my beloved Black Opium Floral Shock, I confirm that Imari Fantasy is its little twin sister. The original is more volatile and less long-lasting, though they only share two notes. It smells strongly of flowers with a soft fruity touch; a sweet floral but with a typical ‘acidic’ patchouli note that isn’t annoying. It conveys strength, elegance, and femininity, like when you feel gorgeous and have everything going for you. It has that Aqua Di Giò freshness when dry, perfect amidst all that sweetness. I’m happy I took the risk; it smells like an expensive perfume, considering Floral Shock costs twenty times more. Note: don’t buy the roll-on; it smells nothing like it.
A good gourmand perfume at a fantastic price. For under six pounds you get 50ml of this delight. It’s not an original scent, following the line of many others, but I’ve really liked it. It’s not cloying; its predominant note is caramel, with a fruity top and patchouli base. A purchase worth making. Scent 6/10, Longevity 7/10, Sillage 6/10, Value for money 8/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy it again? No.

I bought it blind based on reviews, but it doesn’t smell like L’VEB or Floral Shock. It’s a rich but simple gourmand, with a citrus top and a caramel base. On skin, it lasts two hours and evolves little; on clothes it lasts longer but doesn’t project. I’ll use it, but I won’t be buying it again; I prefer other Avon scents I like more. Still, for around 290 pesos (about seven pounds), you can’t ask for much more. Try and wait before spending.
The description is lovely, but the reality is disappointing: it smells like talcum powder, like my grandmother’s. I’ll let it settle to see if the other notes emerge, though for now the bottle is still full.
I made a mistake dismissing it at first. That initial bitter note is merely the prelude to a spectacular gourmand finish, like homemade caramel or praline unfolding in winter. It’s good, pretty, and cheap; a brilliant budget alternative to L’VEB. The trail and longevity are decent for the price, and I absolutely love that trail of patchouli and sweetness on the skin. 🥧
It is delicious! I love it; I admit I like sweet perfumes very much. On me it smells of pure honey caramel and hazelnut. I also sense something citrusy in the opening probably the mandarin from its notes but what stands out most is a honey aroma which I do not find in the notes but perceive it as such. I feel it is a perfume that can be used moderately on a daily basis without overdoing it because in summer or very hot weather it can become overwhelming. Personally I have a high tolerance for sweet scents in warm weather; they usually do not bother me but particularly this aroma feels a bit heavy if atomised many times on a hot day. I would use it but with moderation during warm seasons. Its longevity on my skin is quite good but Imari Corset and Blossom last longer on me. To be an economical fragrance (at least in Argentina) I feel it is very recommended for all those women who like very sweet aromas! It smells beautiful worth trying!
I like it very much; I bought it blind. It is for winter and autumn for everyday wear but with a touch of elegance and distinction. It is a spot-on purchase because other more expensive perfumes do not perform as well as this little gem!
This perfume has absolutely nothing in common with La Vie Est Belle; the comparison is offensive. Imari Fantasy is a fragrance where patchouli predominates followed by caramel; it is a loathsome fragrance. Perhaps I used it at the wrong time. I tried it several times trying to find the deliciousness I heard in so many good reviews. I got it expecting it to be as amazing as people spoke of. I love sweet and heavy perfumes but this one took the Oscar on my skin; it went terribly. Its longevity and sillage are excellent: on my skin the wretch lasted more than six hours and on clothes until the next day. I would never buy it again.
Excuse me if it is similar to La Vie Est Belle yes they are the same no. In their dry-down they are different: La Vie Est Belle dries out very sweet and gourmand; Imari Fantasy dries out slightly talc-like and vanilla-scented retaining a bit of its fruity quality. Obviously Imari Fantasy is a bit more citrusy and lacks the depth that iris gives to LVEB. But as a similar perfume and leaning towards being a dupe it can pass as La Vie Est Belle. Imari Fantasy is a good perfume with good projection sillage and lasts moderately quite a while on the skin.
Cough! Does it smell like La Vie Est Belle? Yes and no. When dry, they are different: La Vie Est Belle dries out very sweet and gourmand, whereas Imari Fantasy dries powdery and vanilla-like, retaining its fresh fruity note. Obviously, Imari is more citrusy and lacks the depth of the iris in La Vie Est Belle, but as a dupe that’s close enough, it can pass. Imari Fantasy is a good perfume, with good projection, trail, and lasts moderately well.
Nice aroma. It opens as a well-caramelised fruity and sweet scent and in its transition I feel rich woody and talc-like notes that make it slightly more serious than its explosive initial sweetness. I thought I might get sick of it but I enjoyed it quite a bit especially in this winter season. Medium-high sillage for the first hour then it softens until it reaches five hours which is normal for Avon perfumes in my case; none of them last longer than that.
Nice scent, starts fruity and nicely caramelised, sweet. Then it releases powdery woods that add seriousness to its explosive opening. I thought I might get sick of it, but I really enjoyed it, especially in winter. The trail is medium-high for the first hour, then softens until around five hours, which is typical for Avon perfumes; none last longer.
They gave me this perfume for Christmas and I like it very much. It is very sweet ideal for spring autumn or winter; in summer it can be a bit overpowering. On my skin it is pure caramel and vanilla very delicious. It lasts like all Avon perfumes a maximum of four to five hours.
I was gifted this perfume at Christmas and I like it very much. Very sweet, ideal for spring, autumn, or winter; in summer it can be overpowering. On my skin it’s pure caramel and vanilla, very rich. It lasts like all Avon perfumes: a maximum of four or five hours.
Imari Fantasy is a sweet and woody perfume perfect for autumn and winter beautiful in its own right. Although I understand the comparison with ‘La Vie Est Belle’ they are not identical; keeping in mind the differences they are of the same type both following the sweet trend. In my opinion they are 70% similar especially in the opening and heart: vanilla caramel notes with nuts reminiscent of Lancôme except in the dry-down. There Imari Fantasy becomes woody and somewhat powdery which neutralises the sweetness and makes it wearable (I do not perceive floral notes). By contrast LVEB develops with a predominant sweetness that becomes more creamy and gourmand over time. Conclusion: it is a good sweet perfume feminine intense but not overwhelming. It lasts a minimum of six to ten hours depending on the weather. Very good projection (people notice it and like it) and at an accessible cost. I see no fault in it at all; well done Avon. If you like sweet perfumes you will not be disappointed; if you only want to try a style like LVEB this is your option for its good performance and magnificent price. Totally recommended. Who will like it: lovers of super-sweet scents and Killer Queen.
A very sweet perfume with good sillage and longevity. The Imari line from Avon is a gem at affordable prices ideal for winter. I prefer the Elixir anyway but it is a good perfume with excellent value for money.
It is very good for an eau de toilette with decent longevity and a lovely sweetness; truly it is exquisite. Recommended a real gem at an economical price. I love the longevity.
If there are woody notes they are very deep in the background; what I notice is fruity sweet and prominent like mandarin marmalade. I paid a bargain for it and am delighted to add it to my collection. Edit: After an hour and a half once the projection has faded it clings to the skin as the DNA of the classic Imari which is more serious (woody and talc-like) but subtle.
