I did like it. I’m a fan of all the J’adore flankers and, of course, the original. But I think I’ll wait until summer because I believe they made a mistake launching it now. It will shine more in summer.
They offered me a sample and I like it, but it doesn’t blow me away. It’s very rich, super floral, elegant and tender… It has good longevity. I could smell it without bringing my nose close for about eight hours (a bit weak in the last two). I’d say it has moderate to soft projection for the first three hours, then becomes personal, which perhaps only you can smell. All this is on my skin. I think many would buy it because it lasts; it’s good for the office because it’s not overpowering and it’s rich. Personally, I wouldn’t buy it because it doesn’t impress me for the cost, and I already have other fragrances in the same line of ‘floral, elegant, versatile, tender, not overpowering, and long-lasting’.
I tried it on a magazine sample. It smells like a boring white floral, nothing original and a bit heavy and dizzying, like a lady’s perfume. It doesn’t smell bad but hasn’t caught my attention, and I wouldn’t wear it myself, although I like the concept of creamy perfumes and the bottle is beautiful.
Luxu: What is this ‘heavy and dizzying, like a lady’s’ description? A pathetic take.
As a beauty product, it’s beautiful, a hydrating voile that leaves the skin delicately perfumed; they should have marketed it as a vanity product at an appropriate price. For the same price, I prefer the EDT or EDP bottle. This option is ideal for layering with the fragrance or the body deodorant, which is much more exquisite and long-lasting and cheaper. I liked this white, lactonic, semi-creamy emulsion very much; it seems very versatile but excessively priced for what it offers. It will be collectible for J’adore fanatics. It can also work for those seeking an alternative to a traditional fragrance. Halfway between a cream perfume. Edit: After a week of use, I consider its function isn’t that of a fragrance. It’s a very watery perfume emulsion; in fact, it’s hydrating on the skin. It’s the equivalent of the scent provided by perfumed oils, but in this case (and clarified with ‘d’eau’), it’s an aromatic aqueous phase, ideal for use under the EDP.
A pleasant alcohol-free proposition; as the seller said, it’s purer, with oils that absorb well. The scent is familiar to J’adore, lovely, a white floral type that’s soapy but subtle. The trail is conservative, which doesn’t fascinate me; it’s more of a personal perfume. Longevity isn’t bad, 5–7 hours close to the skin. The texture is different, milky and dense, unlike normal perfume. It’s a good option for sensitive or reactive skin, perhaps for hair, for sleeping, or simply for enjoying non-intrusive scents.
I’ll say I like the concept of being alcohol-free, but the fragrance itself is nothing new. It’s barely a floral that doesn’t stand out. That’s why I think it’s a good option for anyone wanting to try this new format.
Very rich and pleasant; it seems to project well, but its only flaw is that it smells a bit generic, like shampoo. For the price, it feels too generic. Great for giving the impression of just having had a shower, but for that, I’d stick with Pantene hair conditioner. The scent is lovely, but it just doesn’t work for me at this price point.
It smells nice, pleasant, and feminine, but that’s where it stops. I was gifted a decant and loved it at first, but once it dries down, it smells too much like soap, which I don’t like. The longevity is around four hours.
It didn’t convince me 😔. I expected more from this fragrance; it feels very common. Not worth the price.
I like this perfume very much; when I put it on to go out I feel clean. It’s not very innovative but it is pleasant, I’ve been using a tester they gave me to the maximum and I will definitely buy the large size. It doesn’t have great projection or trail. But for me it’s perfect because I don’t feel dizzy or overwhelmed; it’s perfect for everyday life, or whenever you want to feel clean. It smells like body cream soap. I can’t wait to have it in my collection for sure. I recommend trying before buying. Personally I’d say it’s a unisex perfume.
I’ve used the J’Adore EDP for a long time and its opening always bothered me. I’m delighted with this version because it’s the same scent in its purest state.
The proposal of an alcohol-free perfume seems interesting to me. Besides, the bottle is a beauty, undoubtedly my favourite in the J’Adore series. That fine matte white with discreet letters… the liquid is milky, matching the exterior. A pleasure. I read it smelled like expensive hotel soap and off I went to smell it. For summer I’m looking for something like that, a clean but luxury scent. The intention is there, but it doesn’t convince me. The opening is good, but then the neroli and rose come in strong and it’s too sweet. I would wish it boosted the green notes more. It’s a sweet little thing ideal for everyday life, but it leaves me indifferent. A pity, I was hoping to like it a lot and have that wonderful bottle.
Smells like shampoo… to be honest, I don’t know if it’s worth the cost. We all like the smell of shampoo.
I tested it on skin because I knew it from the strip and it seemed like a super long-lasting delight. As always, it’s totally different on skin: an opalescent liquid reminds me of plant sap, and it smelled exactly like that, sap, green, too much for me. It projects little but lasts a long time, rare for a natural perfume. After a few hours it improves (in my taste) and gradually becomes a rich cream scent that lasts a long time on skin. Conclusion: I don’t like its opening, but on me it lasts and the dry down is delicious.
One of my favourite aromas. It reminds me of the fragrance a wealthy lady would wear straight out of the shower… the bad part is that I’m not one. It smells very nice, clean, those kinds of scents you perceive after a good bath, creamy like an expensive conditioner or shampoo. It’s perfect for daily use… I repeat, if not for the price. From my economical and thrifty point of view (not to say poor), at that price it should be a ‘luxury’ to use, but the fragrance is very rich, nothing annoying, it makes you want to use it regularly. The only negative is the price; it’s not accessible to me, especially because at the end of the day people always ask what cream I’m using and I can’t tell them it’s a perfume that cost me a fortune (in my pocket).
I find it an interesting and different alternative if J’Adore feels too intense for you or you simply don’t like it, and even for those sensitive to alcohol. It’s a pleasant, clean and light scent where jasmine and orange blossom stand out. The rose is subtle and the green note rounds off the cleanliness of the magnolia. It’s a pretty fusion. Milky white texture; it feels like a hydrating liquid when it touches the skin, quite dense. I see it for personal use only. Trail, projection and performance are very low. Although it’s pleasant, I wouldn’t buy it because there are products that perfume and hydrate more cheaply.
Perfect fragrance for getting out of the shower and going to bed. It serves no other purpose. I have body mists that last longer and project more than this… very expensive for what it offers.
This perfume is a dream. When you wear it, you feel like you’re in a cloud of cotton and flowers. It doesn’t have an aggressive trail, but people do notice me. On my skin, it lasts 2-3 hours fresh, potent and floral with green notes, then softens into a clean cream scent for another 10-12 hours. The only downside is the price; many will be disappointed by the projection, but I think it’s designed for personal enjoyment, to feel clean and cocooned in cotton.
I have a tiny amount, and honestly, meh. It smells nice at first but lasts and projects nothing; it’s almost like a body cream. You notice it immediately, then it vanishes. Not worth the price.
Delightful. I love the original J’adore and this is the greenest and most citrusy of its flankers. It’s sharp and sparkling, something that takes me straight back to childhood. I don’t know which note it is, but seconds after smelling it, I’m transported back to the past. A simple but accurate composition. The only reproach is that it doesn’t last at all: after 30 minutes I can barely smell it up close. It’s a pity because it’s not cheap; supposedly it’s a perfume but it lasts less than a cologne.
It has the DNA of J’adore but with no projection and smells more like soap.
It’s like a J’adore with little essence, mixed with soap and talc. Very disappointing.
Water-based perfumes are gaining ground! It’s a powdery, natural white floral with neroli, like a cream soap. So delicate it could be used on a baby or in the hair. It’s exquisite but lasts very little. Only for personal use, sensitive skin, or those who don’t want something overwhelming. It was created by F. Demachy. I would love for Francis K to continue this strategy of fresh, alcohol-free formulas in other lines such as Sauvage or Dior Homme.
One of the few I’ll always repurchase! It smells like the sweet morning dew on jasmine: fresh, clean and feminine. It doesn’t project much, but as it contains no alcohol, I use it in my hair after bathing. Every time I greet someone, they tell me I smell good, as if I’ve just come out of the bath. It’s sexy but natural. It lasts 6-8 hours in hair and 4 on skin. I use it on my neck and hair.
It disappointed me more than Santa Claus. I expected something creamy or milky like the original J’adore, but it smells like supermarket hand cream and vanishes in half an hour. It doesn’t even last longer than shampoo after a shower. Deeply disappointed, it doesn’t measure up to Dior. It only shares the packaging with the previous one, but if you buy it by mistake, you’ll regret it; it doesn’t smell like a quality fragrance, there are cheaper options that are better.
It delivers what it promises: a fresh, clean white floral that I’m grateful to have received as a gift and will buy again. I usually bathe with potent perfumes, but sometimes a break is needed. This water-based scent is lovely, refreshing, ideal for hot weather or for sleeping in.
It’s my signature scent. I adore that clean, talcum-powdered floral aroma; it’s heaven. It’s rich, elegant and versatile for any occasion. The only downside is that on my skin it lasts a short while, around four hours, and the sillage is weak. Still, it’s worth trying because it has a soft touch that anyone would love.
I truly love it!
Smells great, clean and fresh, but for the price I’m disappointed it feels more like a body lotion than a perfume. It projects nothing and the longevity is non-existent. If you judge it as a hydrating layering scent, it sounds fine, but honestly, it’s not worth the cost. Dior could have put this fragrance in a regular cream. Also, although the sales assistant says it’s for hair, it’s so oily I wouldn’t use it there; it takes ages to absorb on the skin, leaving a creamy residue.
I bought it on sale just for that reason, as the notes didn’t initially appeal to me. It smells very much like facial moisturiser or creamy soap. When applied, you feel clean and freshly bathed. It doesn’t last nearly long enough and has very little trail and projection. For the price, it’s not worth it.
I need help from anyone who owns this perfume: does the texture or scent become off or strange over time? Since it has no alcohol and uses water, it’s like a scented cream. I love the smell, but I want to know if I should use it quickly (within a year of opening) or store it closed until I finish my other perfumes. My problem is that I have many fragrances, and some go rancid over time, even when stored properly.
I received it as a free sample with a Dior purchase. I don’t like J’adore generally because they smell of mature women, but this one is different. I’m not usually a fan of white florals as they can sometimes smell odd, but this has a good balance of jasmine, magnolia, and rose. It lasted 3-4 hours on my skin, which is decent for an alcohol-free perfume. However, it’s not extraordinary; it stays in ‘good’. The trail is very soft, and for the price, the performance isn’t the best; I’d prefer one that lasts less but feels better.
The scent is delicious, almost purely white flowers. It’s subtle, super feminine, and delicate. Don’t expect it to leave a trail; the longevity on my skin is good, but you have to bring your nose close to smell it over time, like applying a scented cream. I like it, but I’m not sure if I’d buy it again.
I love it, especially after a shower. It smells like expensive shampoo or body wash. Although it doesn’t last long or project much, I find it very pretty. I bought it simply because it was on sale at a super-accessible price; otherwise, I wouldn’t have purchased it.
Fortunately, I tried a sample before buying it blind. I know it has no alcohol and spoils easily, but on my skin it smells like expired cream. It’s a linear floral with no transitions, and the flowers seem wilted. Once it settles, it leaves an acidic scent that I dislike, and I think it’s due to spoilage. The texture is milky, sticky, and it dilutes quickly. I’m disappointed because the Dior elegance isn’t noticeable; the price isn’t justified by its short longevity and projection. The bottle is beautiful, but the contents go off quickly, so I wouldn’t recommend buying it if the bottle has been sitting on the counter for a while.
I’m new to perfumes and I absolutely love it, even though others complain. To me, it doesn’t smell like soap, but rather something very clean and creamy, which is exactly what I’m after. At first, it smells of fruits in the sky, then the white flowers emerge, followed by a milky base that relaxes me. It’s not intrusive, doesn’t bother anyone in the office, and is brilliant for bedtime. Perfect for daily wear: very feminine, simple, and unpretentious. I see only one drawback, though: it’s pricey for such a simple scent.
I discovered this version via a sample, and although I’d never smelled the original J’adore, this scent brought back memories of my grandmother’s house, with its wall of honeysuckle and jasmine. It’s fresh and spring-like; on my skin, the jasmine, magnolia, and honeysuckle stand out, followed by a hint of rose. It smells like pure spring. It lasts about five hours with a soft trail, ideal for work or sunny days, though I prefer something sexier for evening. What struck me most was that it contains no alcohol; the texture is creamy, almost sticky, but it didn’t put me off.
J’adore d’Eau is lovely and intimate. It’s for bathing yourself, applying perfume, and writing in your diary while having a cuppa. It projects nothing and leaves no trail; it exists only for that moment.
I was gifted this and, to be honest, it’s a letdown. The jasmine and sandalwood are so overpowering that it smells chemical, almost like floor cleaner. It’s not animalic or urine-like, but it simply doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried it in different temperatures with no success; I’ve had to wash my wrists and take a shower to get rid of it. I can’t wear it.
