Still testing it out; the opening smells a bit synthetic, nothing more, but then its magic awakens: very balanced and understated. It doesn’t turn my head or make me fall in love, nor does it bother me; I just haven’t found the perfect moment for its charm to shine yet.
I’ve been wearing it for a while, and unlike Oud Wood, you can definitely feel the animal oud here (a bit like urine), but it’s not unpleasant. It’s only noticeable up close at first, which suggests natural oud. As it dries down, the oud recedes, the musk rises, and the patchouli becomes apparent. It’s the niche version of Oud Wood. Personally, it doesn’t grab me, but the public seem to like it.

It instantly reminds me of Tom Ford’s Oud Wood that I tried some time ago. Surely there are differences, but the essence is there. The longevity on my skin is six or seven hours: strong at first, then it settles into the skin and is felt occasionally with movement. For the price, highly recommended.
