  • I love it, I adore it. It’s totally gourmand, has more notes, though only a few appear here. It’s extremely caramelised, beautiful from start to finish. You can feel the fruity notes, the pineapple, the caramel, and the vanilla. It’s the same scent as Luna, though this one is a bit sweeter and this one fresher. Moderate longevity and sillage. Oh, the packaging is BEAUTIFUL! I love collecting perfumes and want this in my collection. Too beautiful, I recommend it entirely. I’m honoured to be the first to review this magnificent perfume.

To be honest, I was expecting something monstrous and spectacular, like a circus of phenomena, but Les Monstres left me underwhelmed; it’s far too soft and tame. It’s not bad, just disappointing if you were hunting for something wild. It smells delicious, like a spring fruit smoothie: first candied pineapple, then an appetising hint of caramel balanced with lemon. Sweet and citrusy, without being overpowering. I didn’t detect the floral notes, which let me down a little. Although I loved it, after a few hours it smells almost identical to the original Luna, and since I already own that, I don’t like having olfactory twins, so I’ve dropped it from my list. However, I would have bought it straight away if it had lasted longer on the skin. Soft trail and moderate longevity.

Les Monstres de Luna. To be frank, I expected a monstrous, grand, magnificent aroma, the most wonderful attraction of the circus of phenomena. But the word MONSTER was too big for this version of Luna. It’s too soft, friendly, and docile. Don’t be alarmed, it’s not bad, but if you expected something wild, you’ll be disappointed. However, it smells delicious, like a spring fruit punch or a fresh smoothie. The first note was pineapple in syrup; I assume the caramel gave it an appetising touch balanced by the lemon. Sweet and citrusy, but nothing strong. I didn’t perceive the floral notes, which disappointed me a little. Although I loved it enormously, I accept that after a few hours it smelled almost exactly like Luna. It’s not bad, but for me, it was because I already own the original Luna and I don’t like having nearly identical fragrances. That made me remove it from my list. However, I would have bought it without hesitation if it had lasted longer. Soft sillage and moderate longevity.

  • It’s the sweetest and least intrusive version of the Luna (just a little). It has good longevity and a medium trail. It’s a rich perfume, but based on the reviews and Nina Les Monstres Rouge, I expected something more intense. The bottle is very pretty and chic. If you like overly candied pineapple, this is your perfume: it lasts two hours with a medium to low trail. This time I’m sticking with the Nina Rouge Les Monstres, which smells of pear and cotton candy.

  • Between the packaging and the scent, it’s a treat. I’m delighted, even though it smells like other perfumes I own; it’s still very rich and I have no regrets about purchasing it. It must be in any perfume collection. Pineapple with caramel!

  • That perfume is a real beauty. Buying that limited edition was the best purchase of 2018, definitely. Its caramel and vanilla opening is crafted with a certain complexity, making it ideal for evening wear, classy and elegant. In my opinion, it has the best longevity of the brand (hence why I give it a 10 and it becomes my favourite from Nina). I find a similarity with Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent, though without the coffee note. If you like sweet perfumes with personality at an accessible price, you’ll definitely adore it.

  • At first, it smells like pineapple jam with a lemon that adds freshness. It has a soft projection, and after an hour, the caramel becomes noticeable with a very subtle floral touch. It’s delicate, doesn’t seek attention, but those who smell it like it. The lemon prevents the caramel from being cloying, adding only freshness. In my opinion, it’s worth the cost because I’m fascinated by gourmand perfumes.

I don’t know where to start without admitting I was hugely disappointed. I know it’s a body splash, but since ‘Aires del Tiempo’ is my mum’s perfume, I expected better quality. Instead, it feels almost like a body mist. The caramel is noticeable but very faint and cheap; there are no flowers. It just smells like artificial lime and sweet pineapple. I’ve tried it in cold, hot, and temperate weather with no success. I’ll keep it to sleep in. I fell for the cute blue pom-pom and the feline gaze, but the price wasn’t cheap, and even if it were $50, I wouldn’t buy it again. PS: The only good thing is my kitten loves the pom-pom and it’s his favourite toy.
