Descripción

Love, Chloé Eau Florale by Chloé is a fragrance from the musky floral woody family for women. Launched in 2012, this composition was created by Louise Turner and Natalie Gracia-Cetto. The top notes reveal green tea and yerba mate; the heart unfolds with garden pea and woody notes; while the base settles on talc-like notes and musk.

  • LA TERNURA Eau florale has the base of the original Love Chloé but is less concentrated, more wearable, and powdery. Despite the name ‘floral’, it doesn’t smell more of flowers; instead, it’s lighter, warmer, and cozier. It’s 100% feminine, sweet without being cloying. Imagine the colour beige pink instead of bubblegum pink. The powdery texture doesn’t take away freshness; it reminds me of those talc-scented fabric softeners. With the Love Chloé base, it has a subdued animal touch that blends with the skin, very natural and long-lasting. In short, it’s feminine, delicate, sophisticated, and tender; infallible for almost everything except evening wear. It’s one of the most balanced powder perfumes I’ve tried in the Chloé women’s line, refined and good-tasting. It’s not invasive or tiring like the others, hence the reformulation. I use it daily during the last winters and haven’t got tired of it; of course, it hasn’t become mass-market either. USE: autumn-winter-spring, cold, day, daily, or formal/informal events, enclosed spaces.

  • LA TERNURA Eau florale is the base of the original Love Chloé but much lighter and more wearable. Although it’s called ‘floral’, it doesn’t smell of flowers; rather, it’s a warm, cosy beige pink. It has that fabric softener texture with a talc scent that gives a sense of cleanliness without losing freshness. When combined with the original base, it leaves a very subdued animal trail that seems like natural skin, with great longevity. It’s feminine, sweet but not cloying, sophisticated and tender; infallible for day wear or formal/informal events, though not for evening. It’s one of the most balanced powder perfumes I’ve tried, faithful to Chloé’s young and refined line, but less invasive than the others, which explains the reformulation. I use it daily during the last winters and haven’t got tired of it, plus it hasn’t become mass-market. USE: autumn-winter-spring, cold, daytime, daily, or special occasions, enclosed spaces.

  • At first, it’s very citrusy, but after half an hour, it transforms into a very pleasant woody trail. It lasts quite a while on my skin. I prefer the other version of Love Chloe, which is much more sophisticated and powdery.

  • I looked for something soft for day wear, but without testing it on my skin, I can’t stand it. I don’t smell the tea, just that soapy bean note with talc. It smells like Moonlight Path by Bath & Body Works, another scent I can’t bear. It’s like Nivea but more musky. It’s not for me, though if you love talc, this is your one.

  • I looked for something soft for everyday wear, and without testing it on my skin, I can’t stand it anymore. I don’t smell the tea, just the soapy bean note with talc. It smells similar to Moonlight Path by Bath & Body Works, another scent I can’t bear. It’s like Nivea cream but more musky. It’s not for me, though if you love talc, this is for you.
