Have you worn Mezcal Chocolat?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. OlallaBC

Caught me off guard. At first, on the initial spray, it felt aggressive: the mezcal dominated with a dark, dry, earthy cacao, smokier than I expected. However, as it evolved, it turned creamy, retaining that smoky touch with something animalic and addictive, soft resinous notes, and that deep cacao that now finally fits. For me, who prefers unisex scents with a masculine edge, it might push the limit a bit, but every skin is different. If you like bold and distinct fragrances, give it a try; it’s a very original combination.

  2. I ordered samples of both from this house and this Mezcal Chocolat turned out to be my favourite, although curiously, I was more eager to try Pear Pavlova. It opens citrusy, alcoholic, and sweet; at first, I thought it was too masculine, but it changes within minutes. It transforms into a dark, vanillaised, toasted cacao with hints of cinnamon. It’s an incredibly warm and addictive aroma. I’m not sure if I’ll buy the bottle, but it’s undeniable that it smells different and almost edible.

  3. Didn’t like it at first, but two minutes later it changed completely. Now it has something that makes me want to smell it more: a very different cacao. On my skin, it has a citrusy note with something creamy. The truth is, I’m starting to like it and I’m not ruling out buying it. I’ll keep testing it.

  4. blackstone

Smells like you’re dying and it’s POTENT. What stands out most from the start is the cacao and cedar. Then comes an almost ecclesiastical scent… It might just be the cedar, but be warned.
