I still believe this house’s best work lies in its fashion side, particularly the shoes. The description promises Oriental fantasies, but ultimately it’s a soft, elegant blend of vanilla, amber and resins, with those three notes dominating. The performance feels rather weak, which is unforgivable for a fragrance that should shine in autumn and winter; given the price, it’s simply scandalous for what it offers. Of course, you’re paying for the signature. It’s an indulgence for personal use, too peaceful for my taste; without a doubt, I would have preferred the kiss of a far darker lady. (Courtesy of Darkbeat) PS: I advise anyone who rated the trail of this proposal as heavy -if you haven’t tried scents like Laudano nero, Ambre Sultan or Armaf Niche Oud- that the shock can be olfactorily significant.
