  • This fragrance belongs to my favourite olfactive family, Woody Floral Musk. It is a floral bouquet with fresh and fruity notes that comes out very juicy and sparkling with that pear, mandarin, and bergamot, giving way immediately to the violet, the flower that inspires the colour of this beautiful bottle. And no, it does not go in the direction of Insolence by Guerlain as one might think; it is not so exclusive or dominant. It is very well balanced with the fruits, and the mixture of these with the violet makes it very special, delicate, fresh, and feminine. It gradually becomes creamier in the base due to the sandalwood and musk. It is not designed to turn heads, and at times it has transmitted the same vibe as Guerlain’s Irresistible when dry. Ideal for everyday wear and all types of use, which is what I am currently seeking. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin with quite a few sprays and has moderate to soft projection.

  • It belongs to my favourite olfactory family: a floral woody musk. It’s a floral bouquet with fresh, fruity notes—juicy and sparkling, featuring pear, tangerine and bergamot that quickly yield to violet, the flower of this lovely bottle. It’s not like Guerlain’s Insolence; it’s less dominant, very well balanced with the fruits, creating a special, delicate, fresh and feminine blend. The base becomes creamy thanks to sandalwood and musk. It’s not here to turn heads and sometimes gives me the same vibe as Guerlain’s Irresistible once dried down. Ideal for everyday wear and any occasion, which is exactly what I was looking for. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin with plenty of sprays and has moderate to soft projection.

  • A very delicate and special aroma for me. It is not the typical intense or head-turning offering from the house, so start imagining something subtle, fresh, and feminine for frequent wear. Nothing reserved for special occasions; this aroma can be worn daily. It opens with a sort of grape raspadito or slushy, very fruity, to give way to a very volatile violet, nothing powdery, nor sharp, nor leaning towards the soapy side. It is clean and sublime. In the base, after a few hours, the notes of musk and sandalwood begin to contribute their brushstrokes, becoming increasingly prominent. To me, it feels like a perfume worthy of a shy but determined woman, neat and careful, a woman who without intending to leaves traces. Those who keep a nice flower inside a book and smell it from time to time to revive certain memories. My first day with this perfume was incredible; it brought compliments from my husband, who does not always enjoy what I wear or flatters me frequently, but when he says ‘you always smell good’, it means he has passed his personal filter, and this was the case. During that first day of use, I also let my daughter try it, and she immediately said ‘mummy, I want to take this bottle’. Of course, I did not allow her to kidnap the fragrance that had just arrived, but I put it at her disposal. I do not think it is an extraordinary or wow perfume, but it has something I love. It is captivating, like a bride on her wedding day, sublime, worthy of admiration, feminine, delicate, goes about without causing a scene, yet everyone turns to contemplate its beauty. Ideal for all year round, it is comfortable. So far, it lasts about 6-7 hours. With moderate sillage. Let us say you are in your perfumed aura but do not overwhelm anyone.

  • A truly delicate and personal scent. Nothing like those overpowering fragrances that ruin the atmosphere; it’s subtle, fresh and feminine, perfect for everyday wear without needing to save it for parties. It opens with a grape note, like fresh pulp or slushy, very fruity, then moves into a fleeting violet that is clean and free of any powdery or soapy undertones. It’s crisp and sublime. After a few hours, the musk and sandalwood become prominent. It evokes a shy yet determined woman, neat and leaving a subtle impression, like smelling a flower tucked away in a book. The first day was incredible: my husband, who rarely compliments me, said ‘you always smell good’, which is his highest praise. I also let my daughter try it, and she asked for the bottle immediately (of course, I left it up to her). It’s not a wow perfume, but I adore it. It’s captivating, like a bride on her wedding day: sublime, feminine, delicate, unassuming, yet everyone turns to look. Suitable all year round and comfortable. It lasts 6-7 hours with a moderate sillage: you wear your perfumed aura without overwhelming anyone.

It was not for me, but if you are looking for a perfume that smells like those violet heart-shaped sweets, this is it. It smells exactly like that sugary, powdery, and… violet aroma. Longevity approximately 6 hours, medium-low sillage.

I have a decant of several Marley and Palatine perfumes, and this one did not make my favourites. The truth is, I had high expectations, as I adore violets; I imagined that the combination with pear and vanilla would give it that sweet touch I love, however, it did not. While it is sweet, it is not potent, has little sillage, and poor longevity. In comparison with Delina or Delina Exclusive, Oriana, or Casilli, which I truly love, this fragrance fell short.

  • Marvellous! Elegant, not overwhelming… comfortable. It says: ‘I am a high-end perfume but I will not slap you for it’. I confess that I have a love-hate relationship with violets. If they are overly sweetened like confectionery, they overwhelm me and cause rejection, but when this delicate fragrance combines with musk, bergamot, and lavender to achieve that delicately green caress, it becomes irresistible. A perfect balance where it does not overwhelm but also does not go unnoticed. As I said, it is marvellous, but I do not know to what extent it will succeed in the market because people are obsessed with leaving an expansive trail of half a kilometre; in my opinion, that is a misuse of perfume. For that, we already have air fresheners. If a perfume is conceived as elegant, it must have a point of sobriety and intimacy.

I only say that it does not resemble Catch Me by Cacharel (which I love and still have a bottle of); it is nothing alike. They do not even share notes, so please do not be misled by that comparison. Give it a try.

It is not worth the cost. If it is a lovely aroma, you cannot smell it after two hours. It stays close to the skin and lingers for about five minutes, nothing more.

  • Yes, it smells nice and pleasant, but the bottle is another story. Upon applying it to my skin, I detected mandarin and pear at first, followed by violet, vanilla, and patchouli. It reminded me of those pastel heart-shaped sweets I adore, which smell like perfume, and everything was fine up to that point. However, within the first 10 minutes it disappeared very quickly, and after two hours, it was unnoticeable. It is true that it sits very close to the skin, but what happens if it vanishes after two hours? That is my disappointment. The truth is, it is not worth it.

  • An elegant fragrance; it’s the second one people have complimented me on. The violet scent is simply wonderful.
