They gifted me this yesterday and I absolutely adore it; it smells of tropical fruit yet very elegantly, even though I’m not usually a fan of Shakira’s fragrances. After 30-45 minutes, it smells just like Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs (probably due to the base notes). The price is incredibly reasonable at €8.95 for 50ml, and they even give you a 100ml moisturiser free, making it highly recommended for summer. You can try it at Mercadona.

It’s the first Shakira perfume I’ve tried; it’s a typical summer fragrance, aromatic with tropical fruits, sweet and with a touch of citrus. It’s pleasant, though I do notice candy-like notes that I personally don’t like much. Overall, I find it a very youthful and fun aroma for informal situations. It’s not a masterpiece, but considering the very affordable price, I must say it’s not bad.
It’s my first Shakira perfume: a typical summer fragrance with tropical fruits, sweet and citrusy. It’s pleasant, though I do notice candy-like notes that I’m not too keen on. Overall, it feels very youthful and fun for informal use. It’s not a masterpiece, but given the very affordable price, it’s not bad at all.
Wooow, I loved it the moment I tried it: smells very clean and fresh, super versatile and unisex. 10/10.
When I smelled it, wooow! I loved it; I felt a very fresh, clean scent, extremely fresh. It’s very versatile, feels very unisex, I loved it. 10/10.
Super fresh and pleasant fragrance, perfect for summer in casual, relaxed situations.
Super fresh and pleasant fragrance. I’m going to use it in summer for casual and relaxed situations.
Unpretentious! That’s exactly how Paradise Elixir by Shakira sounds to me. I’ve worn it for two years; it’s a limited edition very different from the original: much fresher, summer Kenzo style. Smells of fruit without being cloying, with a clean citrus touch. My boyfriend has a Kenzo Palma and I can detect that note here too. Ideal for sunny mornings, but with low longevity, you’ll need to reapply every 3–4 hours. If they bring it back, it’s a must for everyday wear without breaking the bank.
An unpretentious perfume! Those are the words that come to mind when thinking about Paradise Elixir by Shakira. I enjoy these little reviews while wearing the perfume; I’ve had this one with me for about two years. It’s a special limited edition of the Elixir. Worth mentioning that it strays far from its original launch. It’s a fresher version of the original; in my opinion, it leans more towards a summer cologne, very much in the Kenzo style. My boyfriend has a Kenzo that smells of Palma and I can also detect that note in Paradise Elixir. I like the fruity scent without it becoming too sweet or cloying; it’s more fresh and somewhat citrusy. I use it on sunny, fresh mornings. It has a moderate trail and slightly low longevity, so you’ll need to reapply after 3 or 4 hours. If you’re looking to get hold of it, I believe they are bringing it back into production. Highly recommended if you don’t want to spend much and need something for everyday wear.
What a shame they’ve cut it in Chile… it’s a real gem; I’m dying to smell it again.
