  1. Had it loved it the moment I met it and bought it without hesitation: fruity-floral fresh and energising without the sweetness dominating. Perhaps it’s better to say the sweetness was cut through by an aquatic luminous accord that balanced it perfectly. I adored the dry-down and received compliments from both men and women. I used 50ml of the bottle (a lot!). After a while as I acquired other fragrances I gradually moved away from it. I kept it because it was a limited edition. However a year ago a friend smelled it fell in love with it and I gave it to her. It recently ran out and she wanted to buy another. I told her it was discontinued and helped her find a similar one. Where did I find it? Right next to Shakira on the same shelf: Love Rock is muuuuuuyyy similar; I’d almost dare to say it’s the same juice relaunched in a permanent collection… My friend will be the ultimate test haha we’ll see in a few days when she tries it. June 2020 – Four months later my dear friend told me she bought it and indeed they are almost identical haha. What a pity that the packaging for the Elixir line is so so lovely while the Rock line’s bottle is rather ugly.

  2. I tried it and was hooked instantly: fruity and floral, yet with a watery note that keeps it fresh and away from being too sweet. I loved the dry-down and received compliments from everyone. I used half a bottle (way too much!), but eventually swapped it for other perfumes, though I kept it because it was limited edition. One day my friend smelled it, fell in love with it, and I gifted it to her. She finished it and wanted to repurchase. I told her it was discontinued and found her a substitute: Love Rock by Shakira. It’s almost identical! I say it’s the same juice in a permanent line. My friend will be the ultimate test and has already confirmed they smell the same. What a pity the Elixir bottle is so beautiful while the Rock one is so ugly…

  3. I’ve been wearing this fragrance for nearly two years; it was a birthday present and I fell in love at first sight. It’s one of the first in my collection: fruity and floral notes that aren’t overpowering. I like that sweet, almost synthetic touch, like caramel without being too much. It’s the sexiest version of the previous Elixir scents, a limited edition that’s no longer available. If you want it, buy Love Rock by Shakira; it’s identical. They seem to recycle formulas. It has a wide trail but doesn’t bother or invade others’ space. I wear it to the office and nobody says anything. A fragrance without complications and fun.

It’s one of the first in my collection: fruity and floral notes without being overpowering. I like that sweet, almost synthetic touch, like caramel without going too far. It’s the sexiest version of the previous Elixir editions, a limited run that is no longer sold, but if you want it, buy Love Rock by Shakira; it’s identical. It seems they recycle formulas. It has a wide sillage, yet it’s not annoying or intrusive. I wear it to the office and no one says anything. A fragrance without complications and fun.

  5. I saw the advert, fell in love with the packaging and the fuchsia colour, and thought it would be similar to Shakira’s floral scent. I went to great lengths to get it as it was already out of stock. However, once I finally had it, I wasn’t as keen as I expected. It smells of red berries, but at first it reminded me of a children’s marker. After a few hours, the fragrance changes and becomes much softer.

However, once I finally had it, I wasn’t quite as impressed. It smells of red berries, but at first it reminded me of a child’s crayon. After a few hours, the fragrance changes and becomes much softer.

  7. I bought this fragrance today: it’s very fresh and sweet without being cloying, ideal for wearing during the day. What lingers most on my skin is the scent of raspberry, apple and rose. It’s delicious, not an arrogant fragrance nor does it smell like cheap cologne. It’s perfect for the office or school, to feel fresh and clean-scented.
