It opens with bright citrus notes and within 15 seconds immerses you in an ageless summer: a 100% citrus musk that plays between classic and modern. Occasionally, undeclared aniseated and volatile notes emerge, yet the fragrance remains linear, lush and masculine in a classic order. It is aromatic, tends to dry down quickly and works in all four seasons, although its commercial focus is summery and carefree. It does not feel like a modern formula; rather, it smells like a fine pharmacy Eau de Cologne, ideal for the icons of New York’s commercial districts or for barbers who buy it in bulk to refresh a cut after an Irish shave. After four hours, a dry, sweet, earthy note of gentle musk lingers for another four hours. It has moderate sillage and good reactions when body heat increases.
