Descripción

Polo Supreme Cashmere by Ralph Lauren is an oriental fragrance for men. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by perfumer Carlos Benaïm. Its top notes of cardamom and bergamot provide a fresh and spicy opening; the heart reveals the depth of incense and myrrh; while the base settles on the warmth of cashmere and iris root.

  • What a wonderful surprise. The Supreme line from Polo RL dares to compete with the niches. It smells like nothing known, but rather recalls Narciso Rouge for Him. I tried it at an airport and do not understand why they do not sell it here in Spain when the rest of the collection is available. By the way, those who say it smells like Creed are mistaken; at most, you could confuse the cashmere with the musk. But if this forum were the world, with having Aventus, Invictus and Sauvage, we would already possess the complete collection of perfumes.

  • What a delightful surprise. The Supreme line from Polo RL competes in the niche sector and bears no resemblance to anything else, although it recalls Narciso Rouge for Him. By the way, it is absurd that they say it smells like Creed; at most, one might confuse the cashmere with the musk. I bought Supreme Cashmere blindly based on its olfactory pyramid: a spiced oriental with resinous, woody and musky notes, all of which sounds like mystery and sensuality. Upon opening, a vibrant, sharp cardamomo jumps out, quickly softening to make way for the heart. Here, the cashmere dominates—textured, warm and woody, with a white musk base that cleanses and makes it creamy. It is not synthetic or sweet like others; it has sobriety and elegance. The incense is polished, not aggressive, like a mystical mist that envelops. Myrrh adds balsamic warmth and oriental depth. It performs discreetly: low projection, close to the skin, ideal for the office or dates, but lasts 6-8 hours, especially on clothes. It does not seek to dominate, but to seduce in silence. Conceptually it is niche, but like Guilty Absolute, it seems aimed at people who are still not ready for such sophisticated fragrances. It has no direct reference; it is unique within Ralph Lauren. In summary: warm, elegant, serene and mature, it prioritises intimacy over spectacle. Its great virtue is the modern-classic balance and its only flaw is the timid projection. In its context, it surprises with its silent sophistication.

I bought Supreme Cashmere blindly based on its pyramid: a spiced oriental with resinous, woody and musky notes that evoke mystery and sensuality. It opens with a vibrant, sharp cardamomo that soon softens to give way to the heart. Here, the cashmere shines—warm, woody and powdery, with white musks that lend cleanliness and creaminess; nothing synthetic or sweet, but rather sober and elegant. The incense is polished, ethereal and mystical, like a mist, while myrrh provides a constant balsamic warmth from the base. In terms of performance, it is discreet: low projection, close to the skin, ideal for the office or dates, lasting 6 to 8 hours, especially on clothes. It does not seek to dominate, but to seduce in silence. Conceptually, it touches on niche, though it seems aimed at an audience perhaps not yet ready for such sophisticated fragrances, which explains its lack of recognition. It has no direct references; it has its own signature within Ralph Lauren. In short, it is warm, elegant, serene and mature, prioritising intimacy over spectacle. Its great virtue is the balance between modern and classic, and its only flaw is its timid projection. In the right context, it surprises with its silent sophistication.
