Fresh and distinctive, ideal if you’re looking for something off the beaten track or want to alternate with citrus. It opens with tangerine, an unofficial pepper, and violet. Then a bitter touch of tomato leaf emerges, which isn’t very noticeable without that detail. As it dries, it smells soapy and powdery, with violet taking centre stage and a marked musk. The trail is soft and lasts about five hours. It gives a clean impression; it could be unisex, but the strength of the violet and the subtle projection, or perhaps my anosmia, haven’t won me over. Rating 5/10 across the board, except for value for money (4/10) and packaging (6.5/10). I wouldn’t buy it again.
Oh, No-Man-chen! I absolutely loved it, thanks to Cecilia Paz for encouraging me to buy it after years of just looking at it. I was worried it might smell vintage or heavy on vetiver, but nothing could be further from the truth. Its economy of scent is incredible, although I haven’t tested the performance properly yet. As Cecilia said: what a more feminine thing! It’s a creamy floral, clean, less sharp than Pure Poison, kinder and more smiling. It reminds me of Gucci Bloom and Flora. The neroli smells smooth and sweet, like the Amarilys Belladona flower, with that ‘caramelised’ sweetness of the frangipani. The violet gives it a cosmetic touch. The tomato leaf, which I was wary of after experiences like DKNY, here only gives an aquatic splash effect, like watermelon and clean musk, evoking a swimming pool. It’s not so plastic, but rather stylised, sweet and fun without being childish, with a sophisticated touch. Surprising: it’s sweet but complex, harmonious and pleasant. I’ll keep re-applying it. It’s not a common smell on the street. Suitable for all ages. It exceeded my expectations, it’s clever, playful and artistic. Edit: yes, it smells like Barbie. As it dries, the tomato leaf gives an almost imperceptible bitterness, like doll hair in hot water or plastic. It stays delicate, ethereal, between natural and artificial. 💗
What a rich and feminine perfume! It’s a sweet and soft floral, nothing intrusive, perfect for the office without being annoying. Yes! It smells like a Barbie doll. It lasts about 5-6 hours close to the skin. The atomiser is uncomfortable and doesn’t allow refilling the bottle, so you have to carry it in your bag to reapply, which makes it a bit of a pain, but it’s worth it because it smells so good. I love it. Edit: mixed with the Victoria Secret Velvet Petals cream and body mist, it becomes even more irresistible and lasts longer, a real treat.
I bought it because a girl on YouTube recommended it so much and on Fragrantica they said it smelled like Barbie. On my nose, not so much. It could have been acceptable if not for that tomato note (who on earth thought of that?) which breaks the entire harmony. It smells generic, like some shampoo I used once, but with tomato leaf. Poor performance.
I bought it because the notes say the neroli should predominate. I tried it today and at first I smell the tomato leaf, then it evolves into freshly cut neroli, leaving a fresh and soft musk. I see it more for office use.
