I just tried it and was hugely surprised! It is very pleasant and sweet, yet not as intoxicating as the older sibling. It is sweet and gentle, with a top note of well-blended citrus and flowers that feel fresh and light. Then the base notes emerge: the balsamic, sweet benzoin and the soft caramel that rounds off the blend. The musk is subtle, giving it a clean aura. It seems more youthful and fresh, perfect for younger people, unlike the original which is heavy and mature.
I was pleasantly surprised. It smells much more agreeable than the original: a creamy, grown-up sweet that is less cloying. For me, it is an improved version. Although it is an eau de toilette, the longevity is fantastic; on my skin it lasts 7-8 hours. Personally, I have liked it.
It smells like delicious burnt caramel, but the citrus I was so hoping for in summer vanishes in two and a half seconds. It settles static, linear, and lacks that powdery, grown-up touch that makes the EDP special. So, no. The longevity is good, but the projection clings far too much to the skin.
Candy L’Eau is a lighter, more wearable version. The opening is dominated by non-pungent citrus; I also smell the same lipstick or iris accord found in the original. The base is sweet with creamy caramel and some musk, which prevents it from being too gourmand. I feel it has a formal touch suitable for various occasions; it’s very pleasant to wear. By a small margin, I like it more than its older sister, but Candy will always have a special place in my heart.

I don’t find it much like the EDP. The citrus notes are very prominent and cover up the caramel scent, which I barely smell, nor do I find it sweet; I’d say it’s even unisex. It doesn’t quite convince me.
I do not find it nearly as similar to the EDP. The citrus is very noticeable and masks the caramel scent, which I barely detect. I also do not find it sweet; I would say it is even unisex. It does not quite convince me.
I find it very similar to the EDP, but with that citrus touch at the start that makes it lighter and easier to wear. I see it as very versatile. I tried it in a decant my friend Sele gave me and fell in love. I definitely need the full bottle.
I have it and it’s delicious; I prefer it to the original. I’m already on my third bottle. It’s a rich, fine, and exclusive scent from this house that has won my heart. Despite having a large collection, this will definitely be one of my top picks, and I’ll keep buying it.
I bought it today thinking of the approaching season, looking for something different from my usual. I loved it. At first, it’s citrusy, like a ripe, sweet tangerine; it reminds me of the yellow Mennen baby cologne. It lasts briefly before fusing with floral notes, and there the star caramel appears, alongside the benzoin. The scent changes; it’s sweet but provokes me to keep my arm pressed to my nose to keep smelling it. It reminds me of toffee milk sweets. It’s elegant and intimate, has good longevity but isn’t noticeable from a distance; it’s addictive, and anyone who smells it won’t want to let go of your skin.

It smells of almonds, talcum powder, and vanilla.
Upon application, it smells like water with sugar. Then a powdery note emerges, adding sophistication and depth. It’s sweet and warm; although highly sweetened perfumes often seem opaque to me, here the result is pleasant, neither pasty nor cloying as one might expect. I don’t identify the pea note, but I like that ingredient because it appeared in other discoveries with something I can’t name but adore. It’s a wholly sweet caramel, yet elegant, not cloying.

I love it. At first, it smells citrusy, but it fixes with a caramel scent and stays that way. It’s very winter-appropriate.
I’ve had this for many years and still remember it with affection. Without a doubt, one of my favourite perfumes. ♥️
Prada Candy L’Eau does not shout; it whispers. Citrus notes that shatter like morning light, a paused floral heart, and a base of caramel, white musk, and benzoin speaking of adult sweetness without artifice. It recalls Coco Mademoiselle Intense and the elegance of Coco Noir, not by copying, but by suggesting: a serene femininity that leaves a mark without raising its voice. Clean, warm, and dangerously unforgettable.
