I read the notes and bought it blind, and what a delight! I already own other Vera Wang fragrances in my collection and knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. This is gourmand, chic, and adds drama to the evening without losing its fun, intriguing, and sweet character. It opens with a juicy cocktail of tangerine, pear, and blackcurrants; within minutes it takes you to its heart with that cotton blossom note that evokes freshly washed sheets, alongside delicate jasmine and seductive freesia. The dry down features sandalwood, a well-crafted patchouli that adds depth, amber mystery, and rich bitter dark chocolate, plus exquisite powdery berries. A delicious fragrance. I love it for evening wear in any season. It’s casual, modern, and fun, perfect for the spontaneous, very feminine woman. The moderate trail lasts six hours on my skin with moisturiser (I don’t mind carrying the bottle in my bag to reapply; it’s simply delicious!). Of all the Princess by Vera Wang scents, this is one of my favourites. I sometimes hang the cap and the bottle’s charm on a necklace as jewellery; the heart-shaped bottle is enchanting.
