I didn’t like it. An aunt brought us some perfumes and told us to pick the one we liked most, and this was among them. When I smelled it, pff, it smelled purely of freshly cut grass and slightly of jasmine. To be honest, I don’t find it special or anything; it feels like a common, clean scent. That said, the bottle is very pretty, but well, it’s a matter of personal taste.
Didn’t quite convince me. An aunt brought us several perfumes to choose from, and this was among them. Upon smelling it, it smells freshly cut grass with a hint of jasmine. Honestly, I don’t find it special or anything more; it feels like a common, clean scent. That said, the bottle is gorgeous, but in the end, it’s a matter of taste.
Well, I bought it by mistake, thinking it was the regular Vera Wang Princess. However, when it arrived, I really liked the scent, even though I enjoy vanilla-based fragrances and am not a fan of florals. My mother adores it; she is very fond of this type of smell. Plus, it lasts a long time; it’s not an unpleasant or heavy scent, it reminds me so much of a spring day.
The PRINCESS by Vera Wang made me think, given its so coquettish packaging, that it would be a sweet and generic perfume, but I was surprised by how distinct and unique it is. It’s a floral oriental fragrance, classic yet a modern, playful elixir. It opens with pure notes of water lily, sweet apple, mandarin, and apricot, before immersing you in a heart of exotic guava, tiare, and neroli, very feminine. The dark chocolate is subtle, with traces of vanilla, amber, and wood, a true delicacy. Moderate trail, lasts six hours, and with cream it reaches eight. It’s versatile; I like it for any season during the day, like walking wrapped in a little cloud. The bottle looks like a heart-shaped jewel, the crown cap I like to hang around my neck, very elegant, a symbol of romantic charm in lilac that celebrates femininity.
Very similar to Lanvin’s Marry Me, almost identical at first, but after 15-20 minutes it becomes slightly lighter and has a lesser trail. Still, it’s a lovely and pleasant fragrance for everyday wear, perfect for uni, radiating happiness and carefree vibes. The bottle is very handsome. Scent rating 8, light trail, moderate longevity of 4-5 hours.
This perfume is an ode to innocence and youthful beauty; the designer meticulously crafted every essence. Upon spraying, you feel the water lily flooding the skin, which transforms into a herbal citrus scent within half an hour. Of the heart notes, the one I notice most on my skin is the Moroccan rose (it depends heavily on pH). The opening is spectacular how it settles, the blend of amber and peach in a gradient… very soft.
I picked this up by mistake, thinking it was the regular Vera Wang Princess. At first, I thought I’d been tricked, but then I realised the issue was me: I’m not a fan of florals. I tried to sell it but couldn’t, though at 500 pesos it’s a bargain. It smells lovely, like spring and flowers, radiating happiness. I have nothing against it; I’m just learning to appreciate it for everyday wear. It lasts about seven hours, and the bottle is gorgeous with that brand ring – I think a princess should indeed smell like this.
