Ra’ed Silver by Lattafa Perfumes

The opening smells great, but once it dries down, it becomes repetitive with other Arab pines like Qaed or Rebel 9 am—a smoky, flat pine. It feels as though the company skipped the maceration to produce in bulk; you need to let it sit for months for its true aroma to awaken. Not ideal for buying to age, but if you want it to be worth it, you have to wait. In short: brilliant opening, dull finish. Update: today I wore the 10% concentration on skin and clothes at 12–15 degrees. It projects little for about half an hour, then you have to sniff desperately to catch any fleeting notes, and on clothes it’s barely noticeable. After two hours, it’s just a bitter memory of that 10% which vanished almost without a trace. Is this called cologne? Paw Patrol lasts longer. That’s my verdict.

Few better perfumes in this price range. Longevity and trail superior to most current designer scents. Versatile for all climates, with fewer sprays needed on very hot summer days. From the Cedrat Boise family without being a clone, but very similar in performance with a huge economic difference. Intense fruity from the start with a light leather that accompanies almost the entire life of the perfume. Not much evolution, but very pleasant from the outset. Good performance and notoriety for the first two hours, and until the sixth you’ll still feel bursts. In my opinion, a good perfume with its own DNA at a ridiculous price.

It’s a hidden gem that could pass for a flanker of Pure XS Night, more citrusy and fresh than the Rabanne one, with an DNA reminiscent of Cedrat Boise by Mancera. It’s captivating, creamy, citrusy, and talc-like, with beastly longevity of over 10 hours on skin and a moderate trail. Very versatile, works in heat and cold. It combines juicy citrus well with cinnamon, vanilla, and saffron. When it dries, leather and oud wood appear to give it personality. Nothing better for daily use, it projects elegance and sophistication.

One of my favourite Lattafa perfumes, another hidden gem; I hope it maintains this low profile so they don’t raise the price, as they did with Nashama Caprice as soon as it became known, and it’s also delicious. It’s an exquisite woody citrus-spiced fragrance, lasting very well on skin and clothes. To use almost all year round, only not recommended in extreme heat, but it’s one of those perfumes you’ll be remembered for if you wear it as a signature.

I truly feel this perfume is undervalued; I find it wonderful for the price, it’s not a common scent and I can’t find anything similar in designer fragrances. On my skin it easily lasts 7 hours and projects well for the first 2 hours; for the rest, it’s not quite as close to the skin and becomes an exquisite scent over time. Very satisfied, but in my view, it’s an acquired taste.

To the point: it’s a gem that makes you feel the bursts of what you’re wearing. I’ll be buying it again without hesitation. On clothes, it’s brilliant, but in heat, if you apply it to skin, it doesn’t last as it should. Use sparingly if it’s under 30 degrees and don’t overdo it at night so as not to overwhelm the area.

On skin it’s warm, slightly sweet from the citrus, and as time passes the spicy notes emerge: spicy cinnamon, anise, and pepper. From the start it reminded me of Spicebomb Infrared, but less fresh. Longevity is very good, 4-5 hours. The price-scent-quality ratio is excellent.

I’ll just say that after a year of maceration, this perfume is fantastic: a smoky pine opening with spices, followed by a well-blended soft vanilla, subtle woody cinnamon. I recommend it if you want to look like a gentleman with a touch of warmth.

Marketed as fresh and musky, but to me it smells like fruity oud: a blend of fruits and wood. It’s one of the best I’ve tried, a real treat in a bottle. It performs like a beast, with incredible longevity and sillage. 1000 x 1000 recommended.

I’m: it’s a marvel. A quality fragrance, fresh, spiced, calm, and captivating. All accompanied by a longevity of over 10 hours and a trail of more than 4. One impressive thing.
