Love at first sniff! I tried it on my skin and couldn’t stop smelling it, so I had to buy it. On me, it’s a sweet, vanilla-floral scent, very feminine and elegant. I’ve used it in all seasons and it works brilliantly in all of them, super versatile. Perfect for work, lunch, or daytime events. Without a doubt, it’s a fragrance I must have.
I bought it in summer and it seemed sweet and strong, very vanilla with that tiny hint of patchouli that I can’t stand in almost anything. Zero my style, it was forgotten. But today, after two months of humidity in Buenos Aires, it suddenly refreshed me and I thought of using it to switch from my ethereal florals. What a perfume! I loved it for late autumn: that warm vanilla, the feminine sweetness, and that just-right touch of patchouli, nothing repulsive. I went for a walk and the wind carried my trail; it felt precious, elegant, and put a smile on my face.
It came out fruity and sweet, slightly acidic, and as it dried, it reminded me of something I’d smelled before, like Libre or Golden Decade, with a touch of rose but without the punch. It doesn’t dry down to those sweet pill-like scents, such as Aspirineta. I think it lasted an hour on my skin when applied generously. Edit: I gifted it to my sister; it suits her better and lasts 3–4 hours on her.
Initially fruity and sweet with an acidic touch, it reminded me of Libre or Golden Decade once dried, with a light rose note, but lacked potency. It didn’t dry down to that powdery, sweet candy-like scent, more like Aspirineta. I think it lasted about an hour on my skin when applied generously. Edit: I gifted it to my sister; it suits her better, smells sweeter, and lasts around 3–4 hours on her.
I bought it blindly because I read it was a dupe for Armani’s Si Fiori, my big obsession with the Si line. As soon as I opened the Si Fiori I fell in love, and knowing it was discontinued, I looked for this Jeanne Arthes dupe. Although it hasn’t arrived yet, I went to a perfumerie and tried it. I must say that when I sprayed it I thought, ‘this doesn’t smell the same’, but after a few minutes of drying and moving my hand, a wave EXACTLY LIKE SI FIORI! I confirm that the opening doesn’t resemble it, but the dry-down (the most important part for longevity) is identical. Very refined, intense, rich, feminine, delicate and elegant. Super versatile: for work, studying, afternoon tea with friends, or a casual outing. I wouldn’t use it for a party; for that, I’d go with the original Si Fiori. But it has a beautiful trail and good longevity; I put it on five hours ago and it’s still detectable close to the skin. A very good option.
I bought it blindly and was a little disappointed; I don’t feel it has a special scent. I don’t know the Si Fiori that it’s compared to, but it has the DNA of the traditional Si, although without the spicy part and more floral with the rose. At first, the blackcurrants are quite noticeable, and as it dries, it becomes sweet with vanilla and flowers. The patchouli is there, but very soft (normally I can’t tolerate it, but here it doesn’t bother me). On my skin it has a low trail, although it lasts 6–7 hours (not bad for the price). It’s a daily wear, versatile, for spring/summer. You can buy it blindly; no one should be put off, but I expected more and probably won’t buy it again…
It’s lovely (though not my style) and another treasure from J.A. regarding its price-to-quality ratio. Vanilla-floral and feminine, versatile for daily wear, its best season is autumn. Price-to-quality ratio 10/10. Longevity and projection are correct. For me, it’s a ‘resí’; despite not being my style, I think it’s highly recommended. If you like vanillas, you can buy it blindly without any problem.
I tried it yesterday; they offered it as something cheap and good. The price was fine, but it wasn’t worth the purchase in terms of scent. It doesn’t resemble any of the ones mentioned as similar nor does it recall the classics I know: nothing like Classique Intense, Si by Armani, Illusions Noires, Libre by YSL, or Poison Girls. Perhaps it resembles another one, but I don’t think so, and if it does, it’s one of the forgettable ones. I thought it would be floral because of the name, but it’s cloying, sweet, fruity with a very trendy synthetic blackcurrant that repulses me. Sweet and chemical. To be honest, it’s not worth it, at least not if you have to pay for it. I’d hesitate to use it for something special; if I want to stand out, I’d leave it aside. Maybe for staying in, but I’d choose something fresh, natural, and less sweet than this Romantic Blossom.
I bought it in 2020 and it’s clearly a winter scent, although I don’t attach much importance to that; I admit it suits those times better. It’s the dupe for Armani’s Si Fiori, although I don’t remember trying that one; I did try Passione and it didn’t blow my mind. It has a moderate trail and lasts 3–4 hours on my skin, the average for me. Knowing it’s a dupe, I’m not sure if I’d buy it again; let’s agree that I don’t like using dupes. It’s a sparkling and sugary scent. The blackcurrants are noticeable, a bit of neroli bitterness, and the patchouli-vanilla base that always appears.
