Royal de Moresque was a delightful surprise: the brand isn’t particularly well-known, yet the quality is excellent. Royal is a fine rhubarb and iris fragrance, sparkling and fresh. Occasionally it hints at fig, but then peach and fresh grapefruit emerge, blending with the two main notes to create a cheerful, revitalising scent. The heart features something floral, though nothing dominates. Towards the end, it becomes cleaner, slightly creamy, with a lovely evolution while retaining that initial zest. I see it as versatile, ideal for hot weather, slightly more feminine (I would wear it myself), with good performance and a price-to-quality ratio that has nothing to envy from other brands. It reminds me a little of Hermès Eau de Rhubarbe and L’Imperatrice by D&G, yet without copying them. I recommend trying it. Rating: 8/10
