Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
Not innovative at all, it is the fusion between Creed Aventus with that pineapple and woods part (I clearly smell pineapple even though it is not declared) plus the green and aromatic part of Creed Green Irish Tweed. Very poor for what Micallef is. This fragrance is closer to a clone and inspiration brand than to a niche one.
Royal Vintage is one of the good fragrances in the Aventus vibe. As mentioned below, it is greener and at the same time woodier, giving greater density and complexity to the fragrance, without losing the fruity and smoky character typical of this type of DNAs. Regarding performance, it is good as long as you overspray a little. It clearly has a more masculine profile and the versatility of this type of fragrances. I like it quite a lot, it feels quality, but amongst so many alternatives, it honestly falls behind, especially with the price. Rating: 7/10 Tested from a sample obtained at Mon Parfum, Chile.
This fragrance plays in the same league as Aventus, it is greener than fruity which gives it a more mature and less youthful touch in my view. Its performance is discreet, medium sillage and longevity, nothing beastly here just like many from the same brand. It has a very rich aroma but nowadays nothing innovative considering the number of Aventus clones we are flooded with.
I bought several samples including Desirtoxic, it is a masculine scent, with a fruity chocolatey opening possibly from the patchouli, some compare it to Aventus but in my opinion Royal Vintage is different and feels better quality and without a doubt better performance. Very good from M. Micallef.

I bought several samples, including Desirtoxic. It’s a masculine fragrance with a fruity opening and chocolate notes; perhaps due to the patchouli, it’s compared to Aventus, but to me Royal Vintage seems different, of better quality and superior performance. Very well made by M. Micallef.
