It was the one that least caught my eye initially, yet now it’s one of my favourites. It opens with a salty olive and a touch of sweet fig; after twenty minutes, a curious sandalwood emerges, reminding me of an old church (in a good way). It dries down to a beloved blend of olive and sandalwood. Imagine strolling through an olive grove by the sea, with firewood stacked for a winter hearth. It’s not for everyone, so don’t buy it blindly. It’s intriguing and masculine. Lasts 12 hours on clothes, with a strong trail for 5–6 hours before becoming moderate.
What stands out most are the notes of cedar, olive, and salt, in that order. It’s unisex with a cool (not fresh) quality. It’s pleasant, clean, and not heavy, though I wouldn’t wear it myself; I’d certainly gift it. As it dries, lavender and fig appear (without sweetness), softening into a creamy or soapy sensation.
The olive ingredient, something I hadn’t encountered in other fragrances, makes it the quintessential Mediterranean scent. I absolutely loved it. Buy it blindly; I ordered it from a friend in the US, expecting it to arrive in Spain soon.
I should add that it is totally unisex.
