Absolute masterpiece. This scent attempts to recreate the desert dune breeze, and although I’ve never been there, it achieves it perfectly. It opens with whisky and coriander, a brilliant and potent blend that doesn’t smell citrusy, though that spark fades over time. As the coriander recedes, the chocolate takes centre stage; whisky and chocolate are the protagonists that never leave. If you smell it directly from the bottle, it’s like chocolate submerged in whisky; I haven’t tried anything with such a unique vibe. Some compare it to Black Phantom and they’re right, but they’re different worlds: Phantom is sweet and gourmand, whereas this is more mature, masculine and serious. It fails in nothing: it lasts around 8–9 hours with good trail. It’s not the most projecting in my collection, but it never goes unnoticed. Scent: 10/10, Longevity: 7/10, Projection: 6/10, Compliments: 8/10. Total: 7.75/10. Best wishes to everyone.

I absolutely loved Sand Dance, although it didn’t surprise me too much. It’s super potent; on my skin, the cacao and benzoin really stand out. I like it from start to finish: it begins sparkling with citrus and liquor, then turns dark, sweet and creamy, blending cacao, vanilla and benzoin for a resinous finish. It’s unisex, perfect for cold days or night outs. It lasts over eight hours with great projection. It’s a proper stunner that I’ve enjoyed loads, but as I already have similar scents, I wouldn’t add it to my collection.
