  It’s a super-evolving fragrance. At first, the top is very sweet, orange-like, and immediately a quality whisky note stands out, lasting about five minutes but being very evident. After ten minutes, it smells of sour candies (reminds me of sugared sugus) mixed with underlying almond and spicy notes. I get the image of going to the shopping centre and entering a leather goods store; in this phase it feels more feminine than masculine, and this lasts about thirty minutes. Then, those almond notes become fruitier, like dried or candied fruits, with a woody base. After an hour and a half, the main DNA of Zaharoff Signature Pour Homme emerges. At first it’s quite noticeable, but by two hours it fades significantly and sits close to the skin. This final stage lasts a long time, but it projects nothing. In summary, I think it’s a very evolving scent where its main accord (for me) is the sweet, candied, fruity, dry, liquorish and woody character. I’ve sensed this before in a women’s fragrance, though this one has a more masculine imprint.
