I had no expectations for this IRIS, as despite it not listing iris as a note, its blend should have been sweet and ambered. Instead, it’s a spectacular powdery iris; since I love iris perfumes, this one is exquisite. It smells like Xerjoff’s IRISSS but much more powdery. Projection and longevity aren’t the best, but it does the job. 10 out of 10 if you love iris.
It seems like an easy fragrance for everyone and any occasion. With a floral focus, it gains interest from that vibrant spicy touch from the start. There’s a freshness I can’t quite place; it’s not mentholated but citrusy. The opening projects hugely for a few seconds before fading dramatically. Longevity on skin is acceptable, but performance is scarce for social use.
It smells to me practically 90% like Double Blue by Bharara.
