Descripción
Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford is an oriental floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2016, this olfactive composition was created by perfumer Natalie Gracia-Cetto. The opening features vibrant and exotic notes of pistachio, bergamot, cardamom and pink pepper. The heart reveals floral and creamy elegance through neroli, ylang-ylang and jasmine. Finally, the base settles with the warmth of coconut, amber, tonka bean and benzoin, closing a sophisticated and enveloping structure.

Impressive. A subtlety in this fragrance. A creamy and fresh coconut that gives prominence to some wet nerolies sweetened by the amber. The touch of pink pepper joined with the tonka bean base adds sensuality. It is like walking in a sunset with the sun going down little by little, fresh breeze and a great landscape with neroli and jasmine flowers. Longevity +8, projection +2, quality 10/10. I see it for autumn, spring and summer without excessive heat. For day, outdoor walks, lunches, breakfasts and romantic dates. Note 9/10.
A good Tom Ford fragrance, but much more feminine than unisex. Very linear, it is a sweet coconut, not excessively so, joined with the pepper and pistachio. It has nothing to do with Virgin Island Water by Creed, which leans more towards lime and freshness; this Soleil is heavier and stickier. As well reviewed, it smells of a high-quality sunscreen, but it is too feminine. If you intend to buy it and are a man, take it into account, although I do not mind wearing unisex fragrances that lean towards the feminine.
I almost died. I bought it blindly looking for a coconut smell and that sunscreen I like. At first only the florals are felt, many florals, almost like an ambient air freshener type Poet for bathrooms, so for the entire duration of the opening stage (which lasts quite a while) and it results much more feminine than unisex. An hour later comes the good part: those cheap and dirty florals turn off and the blessed coconut and other notes are felt, which smell of quality sunscreen. In my opinion it is not worth the price, not even if you are a fan of florals, especially because the longevity, sillage and projection are a scam considering its price.
My first impressions are of a creamy white floral with various facets; it is not linear, at least on my skin the aroma changed. The top notes were bergamot and cardamom: what a sweet and slightly spicy citrus-spice combination! Minutes later I felt the white florals, especially the neroli; the citrus faded and the floral accord remained with the creaminess and the coconut. In the early middle phase it reminds me of coconut and oriental flower sunscreens, subtle and fine. As it moves to the base, the sunscreen smell returns with white florals and cardamom, a delicate amber touch, and timidly the jasmine and ylang-ylang appear. I enjoy the final phase more: delicate, exquisite, which reminds me of the patio of my house in summer with the night flower, whose intoxicating aroma falls in love with me. It is rich and for personal enjoyment, although its low projection and the price are limiting factors.
I do not like it at all. First is a coconut that floods everything, then the neroli and the ylang-ylang (that sticky oriental flower smell). I do not notice anything else, just after putting it on, we will have to wait to see how it evolves. I am a lover of White Suede, but this one has not pleased me. I expected to find something of leather or skin as it is by Tom Ford, but it has nothing. It smells like a swimming pool.
What a beautiful fragrance. It is sophisticated, white floral, extremely creamy, summery, impeccable like its bottle, innovative, unisex, linear and sexy. I love it, but I will not buy a bottle because it does not project as I like; it stays stuck to the skin for a long time, but without sillage. If it cost less than half, I would buy it, but to pay what it is worth, a notable performance is indispensable. The lighter version (Eau de Soleil Blanc) has better projection, but smells more citrusy, airy, less creamy and elegant. It is special, but a Tom Ford has not stolen my heart to buy it.
Out of the ordinary. I admit that here my personal weaknesses come together. I am addicted to fragrances with a clean scent and this one is, plus in a differential direction. I love the sunscreen or after-sun smell, which reminds me of the absolute happiness of twelve years old. It smells of sunscreen, undoubtedly. It is not masculine, although it passes for unisex. What is strange is that, with coconut being predominant, I have liked it so much, as normally I repel that flavour (I faint at Malibu). But this is a marvel! The coconut is soft, creamy and very attenuated by the florals. The sensation is as if you had just put on sunscreen all the time. The big downside is the price, inaccessible for me (160 euros for 50 ml is madness). But it goes straight to desires, because wishing is free.
I love this perfume: it is for summer, but not the typical citrus. On my skin, the white florals stand out in a very subtle way, nothing like the Gucci Bloom which becomes cloying. I do not notice any coconut and it is a pity that its longevity is low.
It is a creamy, soft and pleasant tropical scent where the coconut dominates the florals. On my skin, the pistachio is very noticeable and I dislike how it gives a dry, toasted nuance as it evolves. It smells of beach and summer breeze, fresh from the bergamot, subtle and luminous, but I would not pay its price: first for that pistachio, then for the lack of sillage and intensity. It seems nice and elegant, but not luxurious. A more sophisticated tropical I have tried is Ylang in Gold by Micallef, also very expensive.
Soleil Blanc is the very definition of summer glamour: a sensual blend bathed in sunlight, featuring warm amber, yellow and white florals, tonka bean and a delicious creamy coconut. My love was instant; as it dries down, it becomes comforting, dominated by generous doses of white florals and ylang-ylang. It smells like a hot afternoon at the beach, an elegant and sexy girl in a white bikini amongst tropical flowers floating in the breeze. Ideal for romantic dates.
It literally smells like Yves Rocher vanilla, and with better longevity than Tom Ford.
It evokes a worry-free summer. A fresh opening of bergamot and well-spiced by cardamom and pink pepper. It continues with a very floral part: jasmine and creamy neroli, not too sweet due to the pepper, with a perfect coconut base. It dries down slightly musky, with a warm sensation of skin toasted by the sun and bathed by the sea. For me, it is a morning reading on the beach, after a restorative night between white sheets, feeling the jasmine from the balcony. The first hour, the first line of the beach, pleasant sun, no people or distractions, just me, freedom, fresh sand, and a gentle breeze. If white and light had a scent, it would be this. Elegant, balanced, versatile, subtle, and refined. More unisex than feminine. Moderate longevity and low sillage. I would not buy it for the price, but I like it. I love summer and the beach; it is one of my favourite things. Smelling this makes me happy and sad at the same time: happy for the memories, sad for living in a cold place without a beach. Right now, I would go down for a walk along the shore. I envy those who have that luck. I would do the same. I would put on the perfume and close my eyes.
Identical to Armani’s Gioia Sun. Very summery, smells like coconut sunscreen, with a highlighted ylang-ylang and white flowers.
A perennial on my wishlist. I love it and have tested it many times, but due to the poor longevity on skin and the high price, I have never bought the bottle. If I find a sale, I will definitely take it to add to my TF collection. I already own the Eau de Soleil and love it so much; will its little brother end up in my hands?
Very summery, warm, evoking beach, day, and sand. It smells like tanning oil, with coconut and tiare flower very present. I imagine a tanned woman in a bikini, barefoot, drinking cold coconut water directly from the fruit, countering the paradisiacal heat. I love it.
My first Tom Ford, which I bought alongside Tobacco Vanille. It was my first fragrance with coconut; I tested it in a decant before buying the bottle. I agree with the other reviews: a luxurious summer aroma, creamy coconut with flowers and lots of pistachio. The bergamot does not stand out and does not project much, but the longevity is high. Recommended although it is expensive; I love it and it is one of my favourites, but I would not buy it again. I tried the Eau de Soleil Blanc (EDT), which is more sparkling and citrusy at the start, but it dries down the same as the EDP and loses a lot in longevity. Layering with Allure Homme Blanche by Chanel gives a brilliant result.
It is identical to Victoria’s Secret ‘Very Sexy’ (2007), just more expensive. I was disappointed because it smells the same. I would not pay that much for something that smells like tropical sunscreen or a generic expensive perfume.
I’m sticking with Grandall.
It smells like a wealthy woman stepping off a yacht in Positano. It is a beautiful scent, but it is not original and the price is very high. However, it evokes and provokes; if a woman wears it, I will think of her all day.
Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is a classic since 2016, perfect for both men and women. It smells like a private beach on the French Riviera: elegant and sophisticated. It opens fresh with bergamot, mandarin, and cardamom, blended with the softness of coconut and the sweetness of almond. In the heart, jasmine and narcissus with amber and cedar. It dries down creamy with vanilla and musk, very sensual and long-lasting. Ideal for the day or a romantic dinner. I recommend it if you can catch it on sale.
Delicious aroma for the heat, predominantly coconut with bergamot. Fresh and good for all day. In my opinion quite unisex, with very good projection and longevity for the brand and the price.
A soft coconut scent with citrus and a weird base. Reminds me of a cheap liquid air freshener from the supermarket. I didn’t like it.
There are a thousand options in this category that aren’t copies. Too expensive for not innovating at all.
My surprise was realising I’d heard of this before in the summer. It’s extremely similar, but with better quality and longevity. It’s like running into an old friend from 2018: Sunray by H&M. Soleil Blanc is more refined, elegant and rich, with that scent of coconut, jasmine and a summer dawn. One of my favourites for the beach and holidays.
I had high hopes for this perfume, but either Tom Ford aren’t for me or Soleil Blanc is very feminine. A soft scent where you can’t really detect the notes, except for a subtle coconut. It doesn’t even smell like coconut sunscreen. It’s as if you’d applied body cream. Longevity and trail are low. Too expensive for something that doesn’t define itself and doesn’t last.
A marvel, a super natural and pleasant flower. Fresh at the start, drying down to a rich creaminess. Reminds me of a country day with water, sunscreen and fresh fruit. Ideal for extreme heat. I consider it unisex; it doesn’t clash on men as often happens with other unisex fragrances.
Pretty and spicy like the Tom Ford ones. Of all I’ve tried, I’d keep this one. It’s spiced coconut that projects for two hours before becoming creamy and intimate. It lasts perfectly for six hours.
I like sweet perfumes and coconut. I bought this Soleil Blanc EDP by Tom Ford in April 2024 at Palacio de Hierro looking for something different. I use it almost daily. I’m very careful with my bottles: I don’t keep boxes or caps, and I destroy those without refills to avoid being upsold. My collection is in a cool drawer in the shade. I live in the foothills with a fresh climate, perhaps that’s why I prefer sweet scents. When I tried it in the shop, my mind was already set on the coconut, but I didn’t realise the opening was floral until I’d started wearing it. I don’t like the atomiser: the spray is thick and long, not fine like the Dior ones. I’m used to spraying it on clothes to make it last longer. The scent is pleasant, cosy and warm, but very indistinct: not citrusy, not herbal, not woody. My nose classifies it as a soft ‘florambar’, velvety, as if you’d applied body cream. The opening is weak and muted. The coconut smells odd: not tropical or realistic, it seems mixed with pistachio and cardamom. The flowers, especially the Ylang Ylang, are noticeable, making it more feminine than I expected. It leaves the skin slightly oily. You won’t smell like a lady, but the projection is minimal and it evaporates after just 15 minutes. The evolution is linear, with few nuances. On my skin it lasts 3 or 4 hours. I wouldn’t wear it above 27°C. It suits light informal clothing. I’m not one to mix perfumes, but I tried spraying Dior Homme Cologne over it to cut the floral notes, though it’s not ideal. Verdict: Pleasant, soft, but expensive, with no projection and poor longevity. I wouldn’t buy it again.
For summer, the opening with coconut, pistachio and pepper is interesting. It balances the round gourmand with the clean notes of neroli and jasmine. Ideal for cloudy or cold days to evoke radiant moments. On my skin, the gourmand lasts quite a while, but the trail is minimal. It’s an intimate fragrance, best enjoyed close to the skin.
I tried it on a friend and absolutely loved it, but when I bought it, I felt I’d paid too much for something pretty that doesn’t quite hypnotise me 100%. Yes, it makes me feel classy and powerful, and it’s relaxing, but it doesn’t last on my skin as long as I’d like. I have both the EDP and the EDT, and the EDT smells better. I only wear it in the heat as it’s a daytime and summer scent; not for night.
It’s literally just sunscreen, nothing more to say.
Today I’m sharing my experience with Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford. I bought it without testing it, simply because of the good reviews and the hope of finding a summery coconut scent. Spoiler alert: I found not a trace of coconut or pistachio. But, not all is lost! Soleil Blanc transports me back to my childhood, to those beach days when my mum would slather me in sunscreen. What memories! That aroma makes me think of golden sunsets, warm sand, white flowers, and a sea breeze. It’s nostalgic and comforting. The first thing I notice is a strong scent of white flowers, with the ylang-ylang standing out for its intense floral touch. Although the coconut and pistachio are completely absent, I’m not disappointed. It has its own charm and elegance for those summer evenings. In summary, it’s not the coconut perfume I expected, but I love how it captures that summery vibe. If you like florals and want to feel like you’re on a paradisiacal beach, it’s worth trying.
I’m here to confirm it doesn’t smell of coconut or pistachio at all. Unfortunately, I have mixed feelings; I thought I’d like it more given its popularity. It’s a mega hyper-masculine fragrance, smelling of a wealthy gentleman. It has a very high note, perhaps neroli or tonka bean, which makes it seem suited for men. If you want a warm, summery scent with coconut and sunscreen vibes that isn’t suffocating, I recommend Bvlgari Aqva Divina. Based on the reviews, I thought it would transport me to a paradisiacal beach, but there couldn’t be anything further away. It could easily be a winter scent given how strong it is. I also don’t feel the projection and sillage last as long. These are my first impressions, but if I change my mind, I’ll say so again.
Before buying it, I read too many reviews and just went for it. What can I say? At first, it seemed too soft and I felt I’d wasted my money. I put it away for a few days with low spirits. Then I tried it again one day and OMG! I couldn’t stop smelling my blouse and my forearm; I was head over heels. I’ve already used half of it because it’s my favourite and I’ve bought the next bottle because I have a feeling it will become my signature. Simply put, I love it!
Just two words: exquisite and sophisticated.
Overpriced but perfect. Serena van der Woodsen would wear this.
Creamy freshness for sunny days. Many think it will be sweet or like sunscreen, but it isn’t. It’s a clean, fresh creaminess, with a coconut that leads without being cloying. An elegant, tropical and light blend that saves the day when you’re tired of typical blue fragrances. Ideal for daily wear, with a youthful and modern air, totally unisex. Its development on skin is delicious, inviting closeness and has that ‘I want more’ effect. Another Tom Ford gem for warm climates. My rating: 9/10.
Soleil Blanc is something I didn’t expect from Tom Ford. It captures the idea of the beach and the shore without recreating it entirely. The bergamot opens fresh and the pistachio decorates it subtly. The florals are present and the coconut adds creaminess. It’s pleasant for everyone. Its evolution moves to a more feminine profile as it dries down, stabilising into a uniform register that fades gently. On skin it lasted about six hours with decent intensity at the start. It doesn’t have a giant sillage nor is it overwhelming. It’s pleasant, discreet, creamy, sweet and intimate for warm climates and sunsets. It’s on the verge of being cloying but holds it back perfectly.
Very pleasant, soft and enveloping. A touch of citrus, a hint of coconut, white flowers, a dash of pistachio and a delicious creaminess. A beautiful composition: relaxed, balanced, with that expensive and luxurious air. Longevity and trail are moderate.
I don’t understand people who say it smells like sunscreen or is like Alien Goddess. It has a refined scent, white flowers with a hint of coconut, but nothing tropical. Yes, it evokes a paradisiacal beach, but after a shower and ready to go out. It’s a relaxed daytime fragrance that also works well at night. It’s a beauty, refined yet not too formal. The longevity isn’t beastly, but it makes up for it by being a perfect scent.
