Smells of fig, synthetic yet very characteristic, with that weight of Mediterranean summer reminiscent of Hermès Un Jardin en Méditerranée. The noble wood and casual green notes stand out. It’s an effortless, classic eau de toilette, perfect for daytime wear, whether at the office (for that feel of summer escape) or outdoors. To my taste, it has that warm, sober, and light signature of Mediterranean classics.

I bought it quickly on a trip to carry in my bag with this heat. I wasn’t entirely sure what I was taking. The orange takes the lead, but the other notes also peek through without being distinguishable. Curiously, as it dries down, it smells creamy. Definitely feminine, in my view. Projection and trail are moderate, to put it mildly, poor. However, longevity on skin is EXCELLENT. Nearly 10 hours on me, who has crocodile skin. The next morning, upon waking, I could still perceive it, faintly. Would I buy it again? No. For several reasons: – I don’t find the seasonal fragrances from these fashion houses funny. They change or discontinue them with great enthusiasm. It stresses me out. If you become obsessed with one, you can hardly enjoy it for long. Or you buy several units. I don’t like that game. – I prefer more projection. Even if it’s mid-range, I have to reapply too much, so it becomes ‘high-cost’. And as a personal bubble perfume… it’s not worth it. All in all, it’s a good option. You don’t always have to smell of lemon in summer. Orange is also worth it, to vary. Summer Tales falls into my ‘happy to have it and content when it’s finished’ category.
