To sum up, it’s a Paula’s Ibiza with some altered nuances, but not enough to be considered a flanker; it seems a strategy to bring a successful perfume to the brand’s private line.
The fragrance transports me to a rainy afternoon in a garden; you can smell the damp earth, likely from the cypriol with vetiver, woods and amber. The wet petals are palpable, especially the saffron (which I adore), with rose and jasmine in the background, sweet mandarin and a touch of coconut and labdanum. Perhaps it’s beside the tree-lined Egyptian temple in Madrid surrounded by water, or in any garden under the rain.
I entirely agree with ngarcia: it’s a Paula’s Ibiza with nuances, but it’s not worth the price, especially when the original already exists.
In the air, I confuse it with Paula’s Ibiza, but on skin the rose takes over and mutes the greenery of the original. Not much more to say…
