The PINEWARD house is incredible. This fragrance has very distinct notes; according to my olfactory memory (no intent to offend or diminish this amazing perfume), I feel there are more notes than listed on Fragrantica. From least to most prominent, I detect treacle, a blond tobacco like drying leaves, tea and honey equally, woody notes, and something smoky like myrrh and damp earth, with the latter two being lighter. The opening is a bit sharp, but the magic begins during the dry-down. It’s a semi-gourmand tobacco. Longevity is 6 to 7 hours. Sillage is 2 to 3 metres in the first few hours. Be careful with light-coloured clothes, as this has a very dark and dense juice. Cheers.
