  • In my humble opinion, it is a soft, unpersonable, and very expensive perfume for what it offers: a fresh fragrance with a rose and pink pepper scent that is already very overused. Does it have quality? Yes. Is it wearable? Yes. Will you stand out with it? No. Nagel continues to insist on creating fresh and trite aromas. She started well and now it seems she doesn’t want to take risks, preferring the safe and mass-appealing option. It is better to go for a cheap copy of Izia by Sisley, which is of much higher quality and performance.

  • I tried it yesterday and it seemed like a scent without personality. Pure pepper. Tried it on skin and the rejection was even worse.

  • I tried it on cardboard and on skin; the difference was notable. On cardboard, the pink pepper opening stood out very much, very realistic, staying afterwards with golden flowers in the style of Amarige, presumably due to the effect of the neroli and orange blossoms from the original. On skin, however, the powdery floral tones opened up and reminded me more of the first Twilly. Without sandalwood and with less orange blossom, it seems like a Twilly where the sweet and rounded elements have been removed. It results in something more formal and serious than the first, although the classic isn’t silly or exclusive for teenagers; to me, it seems more relaxed. In short, I liked it. I thought I was expecting more complexity, but I will try it again. With the hype it generated, I don’t know if we are smelling the perfume or our own anxieties. I’m dying to try them both together.

  • Although tastes are subjective, I disagree that Twilly Eau Poivrée lacks personality. It is a voluptuous and opulent fragrance. It may not appeal to the conventional masses aromatically, recalling classic floral and powdery scents from the 80s, but in terms of projection, it delivers what we expect from a quality product, something hard to find nowadays with new regulations. It is very similar to Narciso Rodriguez Poudre but more intense; it evokes old, hard-to-identify aromas. It’s practically a pepper absolute fused with patchouli that adds sweetness and mutes the rose, which appears talc-like. On my skin, it lasted over 8 hours. Some found it smelled like an old lady’s perfume, but if you are a lover of vintage, this Hermès will fascinate you. Note 10 to Christine Nagel for making a difference.

  • I can’t find any of the regular Twilly. I was expecting something sweeter, typical of those pink-patchouli combos, but this leans towards the dark and brooding, though not quite there. It has a certain charm and originality despite a very mainstream pyramid. The pepper isn’t as dominant as others say; it shows up at times and smells high-quality, but once it dries down, everything blends together. I’m not a fan of this type of scent, but I must say it’s a good perfume with great longevity and a lovely opening.

  • Not all skins are the same: pH, hydration, surface temperature, and other factors influence whether you will like it or not. Already having a bottle of Twilly and considering it excellent, I decided to try this new version expecting something retro and powdery, as the seller described, and perhaps something more serene and less citrusy, or a warmer version due to the bottle colours. Well, no, on my skin it leaves an intense, voluptuous elixir, with much character, almost oriental and nocturnal, spicy with an excess of pepper, something mysterious and enigmatic. It definitely surprised me on an olfactory level; both its longevity and sillage surpass the previous one. It is a fragrance to try again and verify if it returns to invade the skin with so much pepper fixation. To not go unnoticed with this Twilly!

I was very surprised olfactorily; its longevity and projection surpass the previous one. It’s a fragrance to try again and see if the pepper fixation invades so much again. To not go unnoticed with this Twilly.

  • I have a department store sample. At first it was strong, but once it settled on the skin it became sophisticated, different and rich. I loved it. I would buy the 50ml bottle for my collection. It has a touch of sweetness I can’t pinpoint; they only declare three notes, but on my skin it smells sweet. I like it so much!

  • Meleagrina80

I disagree with those who say it is a copy. I feel it has great originality with so few notes, which is astonishing. I like the first version more, but this doesn’t fall behind in quality, originality, and longevity. In the opening, you feel a lot of pink pepper; I know it is high quality because I have pink pepper in my kitchen at home, which I don’t like in food but do for smelling in perfumes. That is why I only keep it to smell it from time to time. That pepper evolves and blends with the rest, toning down the rose quite a bit but keeping it in small doses to give just the right sweetness and distinction. It is mysterious how aromas transport us to disconnected objects. In my case, a few hours after the spicy opening, it reminds me of the smell of colouring pencils from my childhood. A Google search says the core is made of wax or oil with pigments and additives… well, something like that I feel, but not synthetic or chemical, but the known aroma that blends with the wood, which is felt more when we sharpened them. God, the nose and memory are so crazy; inevitably it transports me back to those years. I consider it original; I haven’t tried anything recently that moved or cheered me up like this, with very few exceptions. I recommend it if you like spices and unconventional aromas. Always on skin, as each one is a world.

  • Trying it is an experience worth every penny. You can tell it’s by a designer, something very special. After years with trite perfumes, putting this on made me feel ridiculous for not recognising the notes; it’s unique. Those who say it’s soft and without personality are mistaken; this is potent, not for daytime, perhaps too extravagant for me, so don’t buy it blindly. I wouldn’t wear it myself, but I’m happy to have tried it for the olfactory experience. Great perfume. Edited the longevity: I put moderate, but it lasts all day, even after showering. It’s super strong and has great projection. I didn’t test it on clothes for fear it wouldn’t come off. It’s made for those who know how to wear it, not for everyone. If it suits you, buy it.

  • Trying this perfume is a whole experience and it is worth it. You can tell it is by a designer. It is different and very special. After using so many trite or cheap perfumes, putting this on made me feel ignorant, as I couldn’t identify the declared notes, despite having perfumes that contain them, and this doesn’t resemble any of them. Those who say it is soft and unpersonable are confused; this is quite strong, so much so that it doesn’t seem like a daytime perfume, but I think I don’t have the personality to wear it. It seems extravagant and definitely not for everyone, so don’t buy it blindly. In fact, I wouldn’t wear it myself, but I am happy to have tried it for the olfactory experience. Great perfume. I edited the part about longevity: I put moderate, but I tried it again and realised it lasts all day, even after a bath. It is super strong and has great sillage. I didn’t try it on clothes for fear it would stain and not come out. It was created to be the personal fragrance for someone who knows how to wear it, and that person is not just anyone. If it suits you and you like it, buy it.

  • I disagree with those who say it’s a copy. It has enormous originality with so few notes. I like the first version more, but this doesn’t fall behind in quality or longevity. At first, the pink pepper is very noticeable; I know it’s quality because I have it in my kitchen, and although I don’t like it in food, I do for the olfactory sense, so I only keep it to smell occasionally. Then it evolves and blends with the rest, dialing down the rose a bit but keeping it with just the right sweetness and distinction. It’s mysterious, like when scents lead us to disconnected objects. In my case, a few hours after that spicy opening, it reminds me of the smell of my childhood coloured pencils. Google says the core is wax, oil, pigments and binders… well, I feel something like that, but not synthetic or chemical, but the known aroma that mixes with the wood, stronger when you sharpen them. God, what a crazy thing is the olfactory sense and memory; it inevitably transports me back to those years every time I wear it. I consider it original; I haven’t felt something that moved or cheered me up like this in a long time. With few exceptions, new launches are not original, although I have many samples and purchases of all types. I recommend it if you like spices and unconventional scents. Always on skin, because each one is a world.

  • A strong scent that oscillates between the typical smell of a lady who uses half a bottle and an incense burner. Despite this, deep down it has something mystical that manages to captivate me. I obtained a sample that I only use at home, but at times it becomes unbearable: very sweet, very strong and not elegant.

  • I tried this delight today and fell in love… being the first time, I didn’t know how to measure the sprays and I applied too much; I live in a very hot city and it was 1pm. At first I thought I’d overdone it, but as time passed, towards 5pm and as it dried down, what a delicious thing it was. From my point of view it’s strong, but if you know how to measure it, it works very well for daytime. By 9pm my boyfriend commented on how good it smelled, so don’t worry about longevity.

  • A familiar scent, like a warm embrace of roses, accented with a trail and enormous longevity. At first it reminded me of older ladies wearing heavy perfume, but afterwards I sensed a characterful, elegant rose scent, very clean with a strong feminine presence. I have a sample that I don’t want to run out of. I recommend it; I’ve already ordered one and I’m eagerly awaiting it.

  • I’m surprised it’s a flanker of Twilly, as they smell nothing alike. TEP lives up to its name: it opens with an explosion of pink pepper that, as it dries down, becomes a clean rose and patchouli scent, quite linear with good projection for about six hours. I prefer pink patchouli scents with more bite. I’d say it’s feminine, ideal for daily wear in any season (perhaps not in hot summers). Pleasant: 6/10, Interesting: 5/10, Versatile: 7/10, Original: 5/10.

  • An incredible opening that seems like hundreds of colouring pencils. Very good fusion of pink pepper with other molecules, including the undeclared cedar that lasts the entire life of the perfume, and I also sense something similar to sweet red berries that the pepper gives it. The rose presents itself very united with the patchouli, giving it a more earthy, camphorated, and musky environment; the pepper also contributes something similar in the camphorated aspect, good execution of the accord. It lasts more than 10 hours and its projection is very high for the first two hours.

  • Brutal opening, smells like hundreds of coloured pencils. The blend of pink pepper with unlisted cedar lasts the entire life of the perfume, and for a few minutes I catch sweet red fruit notes. The rose is paired with patchouli, creating an earthy, camphoraceous and musky environment, very well executed. It lasts me over 10 hours and the projection is extremely high for the first two hours.

  • Today I wore Angel ou Demon the classic and it made me think of something and if I don’t know how they resemble each other in the dry down of the Givenchy one becoming sweeter. But with Ilarès I never would have thought it was so peppery; it seems like a vintage-style but stylish cologne or soap. It could be unisex it’s potent and lasts on clothes for several days. I perceive ginger and it eventually tires me out but every now and then it’s good. It has excellent performance; a 30 ml bottle lasts me a while.

  • Ojos Claros

A wonderful fragrance. It transports me back to when as a child I already felt curiosity about the world of perfumes. It’s very likely someone in my family wore this scent; it reminds me of her…

  • Perla Vencis

This fragrance diverges from its ‘sibling’ Twilly (2017) to shine with its own light. The scent is linear: a rose wrapped in pink pepper and in the dry down it blends with patchouli. Although they don’t declare ginger and vanilla you do catch glimpses of them. What remains on the skin is a spiced woody rose. Longevity on the skin is good though less than its predecessor; the trail is certainly noticeable. Unlike the first which I perceive as more feminine this could be unisex. It’s a fragrance that dresses you in elegance. I’ve really liked it for being so different from all other women’s perfumery.

  • It has a beautiful and noticeable patchouli in the opening accompanied by something like sweet oriental woods and flowers such as talcy roses and neroli in their most subtle expression. It’s like a soft barite incense half-sweet. For a moment I imagined a 60s hippie. In my opinion it could be unisex. In the dry down all those notes settle into a talcy style. I liked it very much and it’s going on my wishlist. Bravo to the perfumer.

  • I received the decant with great excitement because I’m fascinated by the bottle’s design and consider the notes unique. I fell in love with the perfect combination of that spicy fresh and wet sensation of pink pepper with ripe roses and a peculiar patchouli. I agree with other opinions: here I perceive ginger vanilla and woods; I’m almost certain it’s cedar and sandal. Of the three Twillys this is my favourite; I consider it timeless extremely pleasant unisex with very acceptable longevity and projection. If you like pink pepper ginger and rose it’s a safe purchase.

  • karugervazoni

The opening doesn’t quite convince me (I prefer the Twilly EDP) but I feel it’s very similar to Twilly in the dry down just more intense. That’s why I chose to buy Eau Poivrée. It’s a sophisticated and elegant fragrance. Ideal for autumn and spring. It has a good trail and longevity. I’d describe it as extremely spicy with a floral touch like talc that smells clean.

It is a sophisticated and elegant perfume, ideal for autumn and spring. It has good sillage and longevity. I would describe it as extremely spicy with a floral touch, like a talc with a clean scent.

  • Lidiaandrea

In two words: I LOVE IT. Its trail is wonderful. I adore the brand Hermès; my favourite is Eau de Merveilles.

  • Something in the opening reminds me of Narciso by NR (or its Poudre version). It’s super unisex and fresh. This perfume surprised me because here the patchouli note doesn’t bother me; without being paired with caramel vanilla and other sweet gourmand notes it has a different sparkle that I prefer. It lasts quite a while and I like it for stifling hot days because it’s not heavy and has an effervescent quality that fascinates me. Perfect for an interview or going out; it’s a true all-rounder.

  • CamiAckerman

Although I love the first Twilly Eau Poivrée is a cracking fragrance and I’d love to own a bottle. I have a decant and have tried it on numerous occasions until I fell in love. It’s not as spicy as the classic: pink pepper roses and patchouli. It opens sparkling and stays sweet earthy and talcy. It reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez’s scents; it has that classic timeless vibe but it’s less muted. It has excellent longevity and seems even more versatile than the original—feminine with presence and very romantic.

  • Although ginger isn’t listed on the card after that opening dominated by pink pepper it smells a lot like the original 2017 EDP. This resemblance holds through the dry down which is softer with a woodier base and a touch of talc. I’d love for the pink pepper to last longer on my skin but regardless I adore this version and it stays with me. I set the original aside because I couldn’t stand so much ginger mixed with the tuberose sweetness.

  • MissPennyLane

It declares only three notes, but what three notes. I would add an undeclared one, perhaps iris. It is a great perfume, whether you love it or hate it, there are no half-measures in this Twilly flanker. I think it is the best of the three I have tried (the original and the ginger) because it evokes great perfumes of the past without being outdated. It is refined, elegant, smells like expensive makeup, and it is a Beast Mode. The pink pepper at the start can be a bit annoying, but it doesn’t last long; when it settles, it begins its climb to good taste and perfumery know-how. The roses (and I would say iris too) mix with the patchouli for hours in a perfect symphony of luxury. On clothes, the scent doesn’t wash out. Twilly is for going empowered. Incredible, spectacular.

  • FloorPerfumeadicta

Although I love the first Twilly, Eau Poivrée feels spicier to me, surely due to the pink pepper; I even feel ginger and lemon at first, although they are not declared. Then it becomes very spicy, nothing like the classic. I don’t smell the rose at all. It lasts 6 to 8 hours. I recommend it for spring-summer, but if you don’t like pepper, test it on skin before buying. It’s not a scent for everyone. I like it, but I stay with the classic Twilly a thousand times because there the pepper is not noticed so much.

  • Fragantica81x

This fragrance is sensual, ideal for a bride or elegant dinners. It is the first Twilly to surpass the previous one. On my skin, it lasts between 8 and 12 hours, although it depends greatly on each person’s skin; mine makes even the weakest last. I recommend buying it on offer before the price rises, but beware, it is not made for every nose.

  • ANCIENT ROSE POWDERS WITH A MODERN AIR: Twilly d’Hermès Eau Poivrée sets itself apart from the rest of its family. Here is a classic rose to the bone that comes alive with a spark of pink pepper over an earthy patchouli base. Launched in 2022 by Christine Nagel, it combines vintage elegance with a modern twist that adds freshness. The patchouli anchors everything, giving it persistence. Its projection and longevity are top. If you like powdery roses with character, it is a must-buy. I am surprised that people talk about it less; it is in no man’s land: neither a coveted classic nor following commercial trends, nor radical niche. That balance between the traditional and the contemporary is its charm and its perfection for me. 🌹🌹🌹🌹

  • I have to confess that it smells of something with character, that you don’t walk past unnoticed. It is a refined fragrance where pink pepper dominates at first, but the true magic lies in how it settles: an exquisite powdery rose that makes you elegant instantly.

  • CamilaSol

If you are looking for PERSONALITY, this is the correct fragrance. I love it from the first day and it is unforgettable and lasts a long time. As the body heats up, the perfume settles. More than one man has asked me what I was wearing, which doesn’t always happen. I understand that men go crazy for it because it is seductive, has body, and reflects a mature, successful woman. IT SMELLS OF SUCCESS. When I put it on, I feel unstoppable. I love it immensely and after this, it is difficult to find another at its height. I recommend it highly.

  • arhyana2003

It’s not intrusive and doesn’t have a trail, but the pink pepper is very noticeable. On me, that scent is very strong, to the point where it makes me smell like a pepper tree (not everyone’s cup of tea). I layered it with Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu and it turned white; it improved the scent, reminding me of classic perfumes, becoming powdery, not aldehydic, like elegant makeup and very woody at the end (I liked that more). This Twilly doesn’t have much projection; it stays close to the skin, but other women have already asked me to buy it for them. It is NOT femme fatale; it is a classy woman, for spring. With layering, it stays on the clothes and is unique, half-woody.

  • I disagree with many reviews. For me, Eau poivrée is the best of all the Twillies, indeed the only one I use. It has immense personality and I fell in love with it from the first moment. I couldn’t live without it today; it is my signature. Very versatile, I believe it suits any season, day or night.

  • CitricaSoy

Honestly, I can’t handle this perfume. It is the personification of pink pepper. I don’t share the view that it is versatile or suitable for spring and summer. I also don’t see it as everyday wear because it ends up being overpowering due to its potency. A strong scent, for an elegant lady, and quite intrusive. You need personality, presence, and, if you’ll allow me to say so, age. It’s not for everyone.

  • What an aroma…!!! Initially, the pink pepper is intense, but it’s a distinct olfactory experience that gives presence and subtle elegance. It’s not a beast; it lasts for hours and leaves a rich trail. Men and women compliment me when I wear it. Give it a try…❤️
