United Dreams Green Cactus For Him by Benetton is a men's fragrance from the olfactive family, launched in 2023 and created by Pierre-Constantin Guéros and Emilie Coppermann. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with top notes of mezcal, grapefruit, bergamot, and black pepper; a heart composed of aloe vera, salt, lavender, sage, and geranium; and a base that blends vetiver, balsam fir, musk, and patchouli.

It’s a summer and spring freshness reminiscent of the Náutica Voyage line, though I feel the quality is superior in the United range.

It’s a summer and spring freshness reminiscent of the Náutica Voyage line, although the quality feels superior to that range, coming closer to the United line.

  • What a wonderful perfume! Fuaaa, this is my personal signature for hot days; smelling it makes me feel fresh myself. It has an aloe note that is very noticeable, and despite being an EDT, I was surprised by the longevity: it lasts my entire workday (7 hours). Obviously, it doesn’t project as strongly, but on the occasions I have worn it, I have received compliments (which I certainly didn’t expect, as I perceive it has little sillage). If you live in a place where it gets very hot, as dry as it is in Monterrey, I certainly recommend it. It has a very good price. Casual, fresh, clean. 100% recommended.

  • What a wonder! It’s my signature for hot days; upon smelling it, even I feel refreshed. It has a very prominent aloe note, and although it’s an EDT, I was surprised by its longevity (7 hours during a workday). It doesn’t project much, but the compliments I’ve received were unexpected. Ideal for dry climates like Monterrey and at a very good price.

I have a dilemma with this perfume. It has a somewhat sharp opening and a very strong cleaner-like scent; it is a fragrance I like, but I must be careful with the number of sprays to avoid it being overwhelming. Very good price and longevity, lasting nearly 7 or 8 hours on clothes with decent projection.

  • A disappointment. Another addition to my blacklist of fragrances containing undisclosed calone and derivatives. It seems an epidemic to add this molecule to fresh men’s perfumes. On my skin, they are all identical: Acqua di Gio, Light Blue, Nautica Voyage, Percival, Allure Home Sport… This Cactus features aquatic notes that smell similar to shampoo and shower gel fragrances. Supposedly intended to suggest wet skin or a freshly showered scent, but I, like others, do not enjoy it.

  • This fragrance left me speechless: it smells incredible and the best part is that it costs only 15,000 Chilean pesos. The longevity depends on skin pH, but for me, it lasts about 6 hours on the skin and on clothes until the next day. I tried it in autumn and it suits it perfectly; now I’m keeping it to mature and use it in spring or summer.

  • This perfume impressed me; it has an excellent scent at an incredible price of 15,000 Chilean pesos. Longevity depends on skin pH; on me, it lasts about six hours on the skin and until the next day on clothes. I wore it in autumn and it performed wonderfully. I have now set the bottle aside to macerate for use in spring and summer.

  • It bears a strong resemblance to Antonio Banderas’ Mediterranean, though with less ginger and more lemon. On the skin, however, the scent is almost identical, right down to the bottle design. Compared to the original, this has a less sparkly and generic opening; once it dries down, the lemon becomes more prominent and feels slightly more refined. I find it more youthful. The longevity is similar to Mediterranean. Personally, I find Mediterranean rather flat—it doesn’t evolve, and after 3-4 hours, the scent becomes boring. I need to test Green Cactus more thoroughly; I believe it is more youthful and evolves better, without feeling so flat. As a limited edition, many people buy two or three bottles assuming it won’t return, fuelled by numerous YouTube reviews. For the price, it’s not bad and suits summer well, though there are more recommended options. I don’t wish to be overly critical, but I recommend trying it first, as it generates high expectations and I didn’t find the scent as good as others claimed.

It delivers more than you pay for. It smells of total freshness to me. Good job, Benetton.

Good, beautiful, and cheap. Ideal for applying on hot days when you fancy feeling something fresh on your skin or a scent that brings tropical and summery sensations. To highlight, especially that opening with mezcal which gives it a very original touch. A perfect blind buy for the summer season or as a post-gym fragrance.

BBB: good, beautiful, and cheap. It’s ideal for hot days when you want to feel something fresh on your skin or a scent that brings back memories of tropical holidays. What stands out most is that opening with mezcal, a very original touch. It’s a perfect blind buy for the summer season or as a post-gym fragrance.

Oh dear, what a mess I’ve made with this fragrance. I tried it one day and used it that same night. It didn’t suit me; I wanted to take it off; its scent gives me cold water with lots of salt and some soft citrus. Perhaps it’s ideal in summer, but at 15 degrees, the salty smell felt invasive. I’ll keep testing on hotter days or outdoors, but I can’t recommend it today. It’s strong, don’t be fooled, it’s not light or overly atomic.

  • Bought it blind and it arrived recently. It’s a discontinued fragrance being liquidated at a bargain, with 40% off for 100ml, impossible to resist. A fresh, marine scent, slightly citrusy and low in alcohol, which I loved for being budget-friendly and having an unusual top note (though it might bother some initially, it fades quickly). Once it dries, the magic happens: tropical fruit notes as if you were in a fruit shop with ripe mangoes and grapefruits in the middle of a meadow with a sea breeze, finishing with a rich, soft, creamy woody base that reminds me a lot of 90s Azzaro Chrome. Lasts over six hours on skin and has a medium-high trail for a citrus. If Dior or Chanel had made it, it would be gold. I classify it as masculine unisex, for young men and also for young ladies or women who like fresh, lively scents. I’ll buy another one soon, because this batch is unique and won’t return the same.

  • Smells like prickly pear salad turned into perfume, but without any ill intent. It’s strong yet bearable, never overwhelming. For me, living in a salty, hot coastal city, it’s perfect. Good longevity and a very fair price.

  • It smells like what would be a prickly pear salad turned into perfume, but it’s not a criticism; it’s a potent yet wearable fragrance that doesn’t bother at any point. For me, who lives in a salty, hot coastal city, it’s brilliant. It has good longevity and a very fair price.
