I tried it and it took my fancy. It’s true that it’s subtle and delivers what it promises: pear, pear, and more pear, but it smells bloody brilliant. I find it original because it’s hard to find anything with such a fruity character. The only thing is I’m not keen to pay full retail price, as sometimes it smells more like a fresh cologne or body mist than a luxury perfume, though it lasts well and finally leaves a rich vanilla trail, albeit close to the skin. The good news is I’ve seen it on several websites at bargain prices, so who knows… Maybe I’ll pick it up later.

I love it. It doesn’t just smell of pear; once it settles, it turns into a powdered carnation. I mix it with Chocolate Greedy and it’s an olfactory showstopper. The downside: it doesn’t last as long as other Montale perfumes.
It’s a white musk floral with a very soft pear. Smells clean, as if you’d just showered with Sanex. A bit clinical, ideal for daytime, spring, errands, or the office. It’s the perfume for the good girl who doesn’t offend anyone, perfect when you want to feel clean and not think too much.
