I’m absolutely smitten with this perfume! It reminds me a lot of Frederick Malle’s Lipstick Rose. It’s floral, sweet, and super powdery, just like the lipsticks, as Olorami says. The iris, violet, powdery notes, and rose really stand out. The talcum powder enhances that dusty sensation, and the vanilla with its special woods gives it character. The aldehydes lighten it all up, so although it’s intense, it feels fresh and is perfect for spring/summer. Classically more feminine than masculine, but I adore these scents and would even think about ordering it if I found it cheap online. Scent: 9.5, Longevity: 7.5, Sillage: 7, Value for money: 5, Versatility: 8, Uniqueness: 9, Overall: 9.

I’m genuinely blown away by this! It reminds me so much of Frederick Malle’s Lipstick Rose. It’s floral, sweet, and incredibly powdery, just like the lipstick scent Olorami describes. Iris, violet, powdery notes, and rose take the lead here. The talcum powder amplifies that dusty touch, while the vanilla and its special woods give it character. The aldehydes lighten everything up, so despite being intense, it feels fresh and is ideal for spring/summer. Classically more feminine, but I absolutely love these scents and would even consider buying it if I found it cheap online. 3. I finally tried this perfume and others from a little-known brand; the sample is small, but I’ve been stretching it out for months. Perlerette instantly transports me to my childhood, to the classic lip crayons my mother kept in her dainty handbag, and let’s not forget my grandmother’s in her display case. The scent is as if they had whisked together lipsticks from the 1920s and then bottled them. It’s soft, feminine, very real, and very lipstick-like 🙂 It’s beautiful; it doesn’t smell like modern lipsticks at all. I repeat: it smells like a classic lip crayon.
