A pure classic, creamy and talcum-powdered scent that transports me to Paris a century ago: makeup drawers, red lips, opera, and theatre. Violet takes centre stage with raspberry and a hidden almond note, finished with lily, aldehydes and rose for that timeless feminine air. I feel elegant in everything, from jeans to a gala dress; it is the signature of the woman who knows how to wear it always.
Among Chanel’s exclusives, Misia is pure magic. It opens with a kiss of creamy lipstick, violet and iris, all very talcum-powdered. The dry-down is phenomenal and addictive: that perfect powder over a subtle vanilla. Ideal for autumn.
I only have a sample, but it is a simple violet with a vintage base, old yet not as powdery as I thought, though it does smell like makeup powder from another time. I would not pay the price of the full bottle. It is a thousand times better than the Blanc Violette from Histories of Parfums and costs 150 euros less.
