It caught my nose with those notes. Upon trying it, it smells like something I already know: sweet, ambered, with spices, leather, and rose that are incredibly prominent. It’s a scent that lingers and, when placed next to Xerjoff’s Commandante, is almost identical; both are intoxicating. After two hours, when dry and sniffed up close, the mint emerges with a woody base and a very subtle hint of cinnamon; it’s a dense blend where the other notes aren’t distinguishable. In short, it’s high quality and not overly mass-produced. If you try it, don’t hesitate; it’s a beautiful fragrance. In my opinion, it suits intermediate and slightly cooler seasons, for people over 28, whether formal or informal, and is totally unisex. Scent 8.5/10, Sillage 8.5/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Projection 8/10.
It’s a magnificent menthol blast with a spicy kick and an amber base that has real presence and longevity. I find it a delightful construction, more in the vein of Versace Eros than One Million (though people vote otherwise, it’s nothing like it!), but with a far more intense menthol note that lingers even as it dries down. It’s super versatile and nothing too challenging; it travels down broad, well-trodden paths. It pleases 99% of people. A recommended buy if you can snag it at a price that doesn’t keep you awake.
