Just picked up L’homme ideal by Guerlain and, as I put it on in the car after shopping, the scent gave me a real jolt; it smelled like that fragrance I already knew and brought back memories, yet I’d never actually owned it. Bringing it to mind, a Zara perfume gifted to me years ago and which I used frequently suddenly surfaced. Indeed, it smells identical. It’s a wonderful almond and citrus aroma with a very subtle leather base, extremely elegant yet suitable for any occasion, be it everyday wear or a night out. Highly versatile; if you can’t find the Zara version, go for Guerlain instead—it costs only a little more, has better quality and lasting power.
