Amethyst is a rare blend that proves interesting, sweet, and energetic. I can’t quite distinguish individual notes; it smells of ripe fruit—strawberries? roses?—with acidic touches, something ozonic and sparkling. It has quite a bit of sweet musk, reminiscent of some Al Rehab scents. My feelings on it are mixed: I liked it at first, then doubted it, and now I’m enjoying it again. Perhaps I’ll change my mind as I keep wearing it and can’t quite decide what to think. I have a 100ml EDP tester. The cap is ugly, but the little stones on the packaging are lovely; I’m thinking of tossing the cap. It atomises beautifully, fssss, fsss. At this price, it’s ideal for spraying without restraint. It’s a pretty scent with plenty of body, slightly synthetic and unusual. The trail is moderate to heavy, and the longevity is average.
