Today I wore LOVE DIAMONS LOVE by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, my favourite from the line as it finally matches my style, unlike previous versions I tried unsuccessfully. First I tested LOVE LOVE LOVE, then LOVE SUMMER LOVE which was fresh but didn’t connect with me, followed by LOVE FOREVER LOVE which left me feeling nothing, and even LOVE GLAM LOVE, my mother’s favourite, had the same effect. But when LOVE DIAMONS LOVE arrived, I loved it immediately, though I didn’t buy it on the spot. When I learned Agatha Ruiz was coming to Mexico for her dress exhibition, I attended the event and purchased this perfume at the autograph signing; they gifted me LOVE FOREVER LOVE in 30ml for my sister. This scent evokes diamonds, something decadent. I adore detecting the champagne note, something I’ve never experienced in another fragrance. Although it’s a toilette, it behaves like a parfum for me, just as with BESO from the brand. Nothing overwhelming, but very comfortable for cold days. The trail is intimate, clinging to the skin. I recommend a reapplication after about five hours. It’s very sexy, just what the brand is usually known for being cheerful.
