Smells like Oud Wood but with less animalic notes. It gradually turns sweet, resembling the Maison Alhambra Exclusif Oud by about 90%. I catch a hint of rose even though it’s not listed. It’s good, but in my view today it’s overrated; I prefer the Exclusif Oud, which is also cheaper.

I bought the refill in mid-2025, not the base, so I can’t provide the batch. I don’t sense the woods they claim, just a potent, intense ‘dark sweet’ scent: lasts days on clothes and over 8 hours on skin, which is excessive. It’s not a scam for that reason alone; it smells very strong and lasts too long to be a fraud. I don’t know what else to say; it smells continuous, sweet, and heavy, with high projection and longevity. If you overspray, it becomes annoying; I don’t detect woods or the bergamot opening. When I bought it, it lasted a bit less, but half a year later it’s extraordinary. I bought it blindly based on reviews; honestly, I wouldn’t repeat the purchase. It smells nice for winter, but nothing extraordinary; it’s somewhat for older people, with a strong sweet, ambered note, perhaps due to the praline, but it gets a bit dull. Speaking as a regular user, I doubt anyone would notice anything more than the sweetness.

The opening is extremely potent. As it dries down, it reminds me very much of Lattafa’s Wajood, like wet wood and spices. Very different and rich. I don’t recommend buying it blindly.

No drama, it enters Natura’s top 3 for its price: it’s the best, has good body, and the oud doesn’t smell disgusting or overpowering. Very rich.
-
iToxicAcid
A very good perfume; smells like old or burnt wood with sweet cinnamon, giving me church-like vibes. On me, it lasts 8 hours and projects well for about 2 hours. The opening smells like a grandmother’s perfume, citrus and floral, probably due to the saffron and bergamot. Try before buying, because at first impression you won’t like it; you need to let it settle, and then it will definitely hook you as it did for me.

metroidsoldier
It’s not Arabic but it is niche. Very sweet, oud, woody, and elegant; I tested it in the magazine and it’s clear that this Oud from Natura is very long-lasting.
-
AngelEm
It projects and lasts; the scent is delicious but depends on the context and the person; it’s quite strong and sweet, so I see it for cold weather or night, for quiet plans like dinners or important events. It might not be to everyone’s taste because it smells very distinguished, but I dare say it competes with niche perfumes; it’s unique; I’ve never sensed that smell in another perfume or on anyone else. On Natura’s website it appears out of stock, so if you find it, buy it before you regret it.

A proper men’s perfume. Excellent for any man over 30. Exquisite aroma, noticeable, and the value for money is very good. Suitable for various occasions, but only evening ones; I find it too invasive for the office. Highly recommended.

blumooParfum
I was very used to sweet, sensual, and youthful perfumes; coincidentally, I tried the Essencial Oud and it was love at first sight. A perfume that took me out of my comfort zone, very sophisticated for those special night/winter occasions. Super recommended.

A gem from Natura. I’m happy with this ‘catalogue’ perfume house; for me, it’s the best. It uses ingredients that niche or designer perfumeries could use perfectly. With those balms, woods, flowers, and gourmet notes like chocolate and vanilla, this fragrance is exquisite and well-masculine, very balanced. It’s not beast mode in terms of trail or longevity, but it lasts 5 to 6 hours on skin easily, and on clothes, needless to say. It cost me less than $30 and it outshines very expensive perfumes. 10/10 for those who like perfumes with OUD.

Agarwood, or Oud, is that dark resin trees secrete to fight off fungus. Essencial Oud is a beast in its class: you either love it or hate it. It’s the least versatile in my collection, demanding experience to wear well. It blends woods, incense, and spices. For the price, the quality is brutal, almost like a Hugo Boss Absolu at triple the value. Don’t look for compliments here; seek pure olfactory experience.
-
Crizshki
The more you wear it, the more you get hooked. It’s strong and projects well, but let it macerate for a while so everything blends and you can enjoy the full scent. Best worn on cool days with plenty of layers. Smells of sweet nuts with that spicy Oud note adding depth and addiction. Not for everyone, but it lasts forever. It smells mature and serious; if you combine it with personality and know you’ll smell different, you’ll maximise your presence.
-
baofragantico
Absolutely delicious perfume, yet incredibly complex. It doesn’t suit everyone and isn’t the scent that garners the most compliments. The quality is top-notch; it certainly doesn’t feel like a catalogue fragrance, but many women struggle to wear it.
-
geroluna_44
So potent that if I smell it up close, it lingers on my nose and beard for hours. My girlfriend and my mother adore it. It’s powerful in intensity and complexity, yet becomes velvety and silky over time. It’s sweet. Totally worth it for the price.

newuser25
I tested a decant before deciding. Not being an expert, I went with my first impression and didn’t like it. I resisted for nearly a month before trying it again once the alcohol had evaporated. What a relief; I loved it and blame my one-month-old self for being so foolish. The aroma is sweet, spiced, rich, yet not cloying. It shines at night; sometimes I feel tempted to wear it in the heat during the day, and the trail is sensational. Surprisingly, it doesn’t give me headaches. Many will say I’m mad, but it’s addictive, unobtrusive, and the quality is impressive. The price is volatile: I bought it for $24, and now it’s nearly $70. Wait for a dip; it’s delicious and high quality, but those exorbitant prices aren’t justified.

MaximoRV
Yes, it smells very good. A masculine scent for winter, nocturnal and with excellent performance. If you do not want to smell like everyone else in a bar, this is your option. With a very attractive price, there is nothing more to say: go for it. I recommend buying it, but not blindly. Rating: 8/10.

DaniloMed
It is a delicate, pleasant and complex Eau de Parfum thanks to its sweet woods. It lasts longer than average, though the projection is moderate. Top notes: spices, woods, sweetness, saffron, amber and a citrus touch. Heart: sweet praline, cinnamon and woods. Base: light Oud, sandalwood, balsams and patchouli. It is sweet, spicy and woody. My partner complimented it, but not at work (I apply 8 to 10 sprays and reapply halfway through the day). I was surprised that it lasted days on clothes, even on the car belt. I feel the trail is moderate and creates a very pleasant personal bubble of about half a metre that does not bother anyone. With its sweet and woody scent, it is impossible not to like it. Scent 10/10, Longevity 10/10, Projection 6/10, Price 7/10. I recommend it blindly if you like sweet and woody scents.
-
babylon
Spectacular fragrance. I bought it because I saw several influencers talking highly of it. Now that I have tried it, I say it is a masculine, strong and serious scent. The woody notes are present and the Oud is not for playing around. High longevity and projection from high to moderate; you need to plan your sprays. I find it winterly and cold. Highly recommended.
-
Diegol123
A marvel of cost-to-price ratio.

The oud lasted three hours, but when it fades, the scent turns unpleasant, almost like saliva. I love it, but only for short bursts on skin; on clothes, it lasts forever and is worth every penny at this price.
-
AgusPieri198
My first perfume with Oud. I like it; it is very woody and strong with sweet touches from the praline. I cannot identify any other notes from the 20 it declares. It lasts 6-7 hours on skin and has moderate projection. I bought it in refill format and they say that in this form it is less concentrated and does not perform as it should.
-
Andrea 🇵🇪 a29
Very woody with a strong alcoholic note at first. Then it settles into a scent reminiscent of drunk leather. A super masculine fragrance, made for mature men.
-
jtremo
Using it several times, I’ve noticed the opening oud fades significantly as it dries down, transforming into the DNA of Angel’s Share or Kissmet Angel with an oud base. If you own those fragrances, you’ll understand where this scent is heading.
-
Danieligomez
What a delightful perfume 🤌❤️ It smells like drunk chocolate, sexy and masculine. It feels like high quality for the price. I wore it at night in cold weather and it’s excellent 🔥. Longevity and projection are rated 8.9 to 10.
-
gichu
A fragrance impossible to buy blind; it smells very mature and isn’t suitable for anyone under 30 or casual settings. To my nose, it’s cloying and overwhelming, not my style. However, it’s of excellent quality, ideal for special occasions, winter nights only. Performance is brutal: 10 hours on skin and 2 hours of projection with a heavy trail. A great purchase for the price.
-
Andrescg
Excellent scent, serious, with a VIP perfume house vibe. Recommended if you’re looking for something masculine and serious for elegant or nightlife outings. Definitely recommended.

First off, I’m a regular user, not an expert. I bought it due to the hype, as many considered it the best from Natura. I got it for around $35 with a coupon. On first sniff, I regretted it instantly: ‘I don’t like this’. After a week of use, I’m getting used to it a bit. The opening is very intense and rare; I perceive it as a lady’s perfume, slightly synthetic, which I don’t enjoy. Later, it feels a bit ‘exotic’, medicinal, or like syrup. After two hours, the performance drops significantly; it sits right on the skin. Unfortunately, after two or three hours, it’s when I like it most; it becomes sweet and pleasant, something I want to wear when it’s cold. In other words, the longer it goes on, the richer it gets, but it’s not worth it because the performance fades. In total, it lasts about 7 or 8 hours very close to the skin. I feel it’s not worth it: the part I like most is the least noticeable, while the part I dislike most is the most intense and what everyone will smell. It’s not for me; I look for compliments as I pass by, and this is difficult to achieve. It’s a different, complex scent that you have to get used to. For those over 30, formal and serious. It’s not me; I’m 23 and wear perfumes to get compliments. That said, it feels crafted and of quality, and the bottle is beautiful. Don’t buy it blind or casually. Night and cold weather only. Rating: 5/10 for the first two hours, 7/10 after three, but it’s barely noticeable. Thanks for reading.

lauchamartinez_
A very sweet masculine fragrance; the oud holds up, it’s nocturnal and a bit formal for those over 18. Exquisite, high performance, and very good value. You need to know how to wear it; you might love it or hate it. The scent is like being in a sawmill with a dying grill next to you while eating cinnamon candy.

Jnk23
Buenos Aires, polar cold (ironically), and the scent lasted all day with just five sprays. Against the wind, against the cold, against everything. The aroma is spectacular considering the value. That said, mine is from the old bottles, though they say the new ones smell the same, just with an hour or two less longevity. For the price, you must have it. For the scent, even more so.
-
Chabacano
For the price, it’s an excellent fragrance, superior and more purposeful than countless designer houses.
-
EdCanoz
Formal top fragrance for going out at night.

maxeerock
Essential Oud draws inspiration from the sweet base of classics like A*Men but doesn’t steal anything else. The opening is strong and reminiscent of old colognes, but it shines once it dries down. It smells very much like Khamrah and I’m sure also like Angel’s Share. For cold weather it’s cloying but it works. I like it.
-
RamirezSelenscig
Very good perfume; I don’t know why but I absolutely love it. For the price, you couldn’t ask for more. Ideal for day or night in temperate or cold climates.
-
EdCanoz
Very good aroma, excellent performance. It’s a catalogue fragrance that doesn’t envy a designer one in the slightest.
-
JoseMartin
Catalogue perfume with longevity and sillage superior to many mass-market scents and even niche ones. Excellent value for money. I perceive it as woody, slightly sweet on the dry down, elegant and perfect for winter.
-
gabit0nce
Natura took me out of the stadium with this scent. Sweet, rich, a super easy-to-wear oud and what can I say about the performance? It’s a beast mode from the catalogue.
-
Santo Lorenzo
Delicious, a recommended purchase for autumn and winter. I’ve even worn it in summer with intense heat (perhaps it’s too much), being a bomb and receiving compliments or people asking what I’m wearing, both from men and women.

I can’t stop writing about this wonderful Brazilian perfume. Essencial Oud is my national favourite (I live in Brazil), followed by the Oud Pimenta from the same line. It’s incredible how much a fragrance costing around $30 can deliver. Although the oud here is quite artificial, it doesn’t detract from its merits because there is a lot of commercial rubbish sold at triple the price just for being a well-known brand. This is accessible and cheap niche; let those who mind, mind. I showed it to several friends in Venezuela with expensive collections and they all agreed it’s a marvel. On my skin it lasts over 10 hours, projecting strongly for the first two hours. This perfume is for making yourself felt, for ‘arriving, arriving’.

Chrise46
The authentic BEAST MODE. It is really potent. If potency makes EDTs from French and Spanish houses seem like water with sugar. It’s a sweet and woody bomb with better fixation than average. With two sprays you’re ready for six hours. The only drawback is that it leaves a layer on the skin that if you rub it comes off as if it were dirt. It projects to over two metres and has a very dense and complex gourmand scent. It’s like mixing dulce de leche with honey and oud. If you let it mature for a few months in the dark and spray it a couple of times every two or three weeks, it smells much better.

CATALOGUE OUD: This catalogue fragrance stands out for its oud note, which although not overwhelmingly potent, combines harmoniously with woody and spicy nuances. It’s an easy-to-wear oud perfume that adds a distinctive touch in a world saturated with trends. By choosing it, you ensure you stand out from the crowd. In summary, if you appreciate woody, spicy notes and a subtle touch of oud, this fragrance will be to your liking. I personally enjoyed it very much and consider it a very attractive option, although it’s not a monster in terms of longevity. Its performance is excellent considering its price. On the skin it lasts between 6 and 8 hours, projecting notably for the first 2 to 3 hours before becoming more intimate. The sillage is good and is perceived in bursts throughout its duration. I highly recommend it to any oud lover. If you want a more detailed review, check my video on the Rosko Perfumes YouTube channel.

It’s not for me… I bought it blindly and it was a FAIL. The scent is very fussy; I consider it unisex but perhaps too masculine for me. It’s high-quality spiced, elegant, and original, but I don’t think it’s captivating or sexy, nor versatile.
I let myself be swayed by reviews and bought it blindly as it was on discount, and it was a MISTAKE. It’s an oud bomb. Although I like strong perfumes, this is very violent. If you like woody scents, you might enjoy it (I recommend spraying very little), but on me, it smelled of oak table, even bitter, with no flowers or vanilla. For me, it’s unisex-masculine. Huge projection and 12-hour longevity; it’s not versatile, usable only in winter and at night (to clarify, it’s intolerable to my nose). My disgust was so great that I sold it within a week. I’ve never had such an aversion, although you might like it. I recommend smelling it in person or using a tester. I’d give the scent 0/10.
I took the plunge and bought it blindly, and I have no regrets; I’m delighted. It lasts over 7 hours. Although I find it a bit heavy, the camphor/mentholated scent can be worn all year with moderation, though I wouldn’t wear it for very elegant occasions. I don’t consider it unisex, except at the start, as it later sweetens and softens. It reminds me of a Halls honey lozenge.
I’ve had it for months and adore it, not just for the wonderful scent but for the longevity, around 8 hours. It’s complex and characterful, not suitable for everyone. At first, I feel the tickle of pepper, then it moves to delicious white flowers. My favourite part is the dry-down with oud and woods that feel skin-close even after a shower. I recommend testing first, but if you like strong, characterful fragrances, you’ll love it.
I tried it twice with samples and effectively it’s not for me. I didn’t like it at all; very woody/incense-like and too masculine for my taste.
Very particular. Sometimes it seems more masculine; on those days, I combined it with another (feminine) fragrance and it still stood out. I love that Natura uses and combines exotic aromas. It has good tenacity. As several people have written, I recommend testing it before buying.
I noticed it on a colleague and wondered what she was wearing. I thought it was an exotic or medicinal blend, but it turned out to be a catalogue commercial perfume. My reaction was immediate attraction, and I decided to buy it because it’s terribly mislabelled as ‘feminine’. On my skin, it recalls vintage aromas, with bursts reminiscent of Dior’s Poison. The sweetness comes from plum and bitter honey, not the oud, which I barely perceive. It’s a dark oriental floral, far from innocent, wild, and carnivorous. I suspect undeclared floral notes like carnation and detect a lot of ambroxan. The mentholated opening is the backbone that unifies everything. I don’t detect vanilla. The dry-down is controversial: sometimes I like it, sometimes I hate it. It ends soapy, as if freshly bathed. It’s mysterious how it ends up like that after such an aromatic orchestra.
What a surprise! It smells of potent, bright medicinal oud. It projects more than the masculine version, which is woodier and less scandalous. It seems more masculine to me, yet on a woman, it smells delicious. Perfect for an elegant, mysterious, and reserved girl. Nothing to envy from a niche fragrance. Scent 8.5/10, longevity 9/10, compliments 9/10, and recommended 100%.
Impactful and long-lasting. It projects strongly with a scent reminiscent of medicinal syrup, but then it mellows as the oud is softened by rose and jasmine. It’s neither shy nor innocent, nor does it have synthetic notes that bother. It’s for those who love impact: it steps forward, leaves a trail, and commands attention. I bought it thinking it was like Velvet Rose & Oud by Jo Malone, but it’s worlds apart; this is woody, resinous, exotic, and frankly overwhelming. Do I like it? No. If I don’t sell it, I’ll use it for layering so it doesn’t overpower another fragrance.
It’s my favourite from Natura so far. It starts with plum and pepper, then evolves into a beautiful woody rose. It empowers me, making me feel strong when I wear it. Delicious, but don’t buy blindly!
I absolutely love it; it’s my daily perfume. It’s not discreet at all; it has personality and makes itself known. I don’t think it’s a fragrance to buy blind; you might not like it if you’re not used to this type of aroma.
On my skin, the opening evokes nuts… a prune or raisin with the wood well-marked, just as I like it, and it remains linear. After a while, you feel the wood with a sugared rose. I would describe it as: it’s not an astringent or dry wood, but a floral sweet wood (which doesn’t overwhelm, bother or cloy). As it dries, the wood is still felt with a little vanilla that closes the sweetness. It’s not a gourmand vanilla, but it’s noticeable and sweetens the wood, making this a beautifully feminine, elegant fragrance that I imagine on a serious, empowered woman. Its longevity exceeds 12 hours. I believe it’s versatile, more for autumn, winter and early spring. I don’t think there’s a problem in using it day or night; it goes excellent at any time.
It’s an aroma with which I would like to be identified: mature, mysterious due to the exotic notes, elegant and characterful. It’s enjoyed more the lower the temperature, but it can also be worn in warm weather, just with moderation. It’s certainly not a good option for those who like gourmand aromas, which I also enjoy, however, I identify more with this type of sweetness, as everything is sweet on my skin. Don’t let yourself be guided by those who say negative things; better to know it and form your own opinion.
Love at first sniff. As soon as I smelled it, I felt: Love, Passion and other things. It’s beautiful, the best from Natura, by far. The oud is very noticeable, along with pink pepper and rose. Longevity 20, sillage 20, aroma 20, packaging 20. Would I buy it again? Always. I love it; it’s unique. I have other ouds and none resemble it. Essencial Oud is a marvel, like all from Natura. I recommend trying it before buying as it’s not for every taste. It’s special! If you like sweet gourmand, floral and citrusy aromas, I don’t think you’ll like it. It’s more intense, sweet, woody and spiced! I recommend it for cold climates and night outings.
Essential feminine oud; it’s a voluptuous fragrance with an undeserved bad reputation. While it is dense, it can please many at the right times and quantities. In my case, it behaves totally feminine, fruity, balsamic and very sweet, without being gourmand, but rather resinous. The only ‘difficult’ accord is at the start, slightly mentholated and camphoraceous, a medicinal smell, but the nuts, the peach (which I feel even crystallised), the praline and the woody base are predominant. I don’t even think it’s that floral. It’s delicious and suitable and elegant for cold seasons. The projection is moderate and the longevity is six hours or more. Who will like it: lovers of opulent fragrances.
I’m not a lover of woody fragrances, but wow, this is delicious. I loved it; it lasts quite a while on the skin. To me, it’s elegant, sensual, and makes you feel sophisticated. The truth is, it was a blind buy and it didn’t disappoint in the slightest. I also bought the men’s version and loved it just as much; it’s elegant. I would buy it again without hesitation.
Excellent fragrance; this could easily be a niche scent; the note of oud is evident. I perceive it as more unisex than anything else. The opening is exquisite, and as it dries down, you feel that woody oud with sweet and slightly floral notes. A wonderful creation from Natura, very addictive to smell; I love it.
Definitely sweet, intense and invasive. On my skin type, perfumes usually struggle to last, but this one wouldn’t budge even with soap. Unfortunately, it wasn’t one of my favourites as it gave me dizziness and a headache. My recommendation is to moderate the sprays and use it at night or in winter.
A superb fragrance, excellent for a catalogue release, and I find it brilliant—nothing to envy from any designer. It’s an overwhelming scent that invades spaces, seductive and dark. I’ve loved it from start to finish: a powdery rose with immense power. It’s an aroma that goes through several phases, all very enjoyable and distinct. For me, it’s a delight to wear at night or on cold afternoons, ideal for autumn and winter. I’d dare say it’s the best perfume from Natura. It’s very much in the style of Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet. I always buy it again; it’s addictive.
I absolutely love it; it’s my favourite from Natura. It’s incredibly well-made, delicious and unique, nothing like anything I’ve smelled before. I imagine it on a mysterious, dark, elegant woman who loves leather, aged between 27 and 50, and it’s unisex—men can wear it too. The fragrance evolves beautifully: it starts sweet, but the oud always dominates, then pepper and sandalwood emerge, before returning with amber and nuts. The longevity is brutal; it lasts nearly a month on clothes. When I open the wardrobe, it smells incredible for the first two weeks, and I have to wash the garments twice. On skin, it won’t go anywhere unless you shower; it can last two days, and sometimes you can even smell it on yourself. Note: this isn’t for everyone; it has strong personality and can be intimidating. I hope they never discontinue it.
I bought it blindly, hadn’t tried it, and let myself be swept up by the TikTok hype. It’s a complex fragrance and I knew it would be hard to get used to. It didn’t disappoint, but it cost me a while to make friends with it. On my skin, the wood and black pepper were very strong; I felt it was more unisex leaning masculine. I didn’t sense the rose, nor the sweetness, nor did it last more than 5/6 hours. Over the days, I learned to appreciate it and now I love it. I’ve worn it alone and also as a layering with something sweeter. It complements a very sweet scent perfectly and boosts it immensely this way. I would buy it a hundred times again.
If you like woody and vanilla scents, this is the one. Unisex. I recommend smelling it first as it’s quite strong and particular. Nothing to envy from imports. I always have it in my collection; it can never be missing.
It’s very similar to, or quite like, Avon’s FAR AWAY ROYALE, and look, I swallowed that Avon one with pure praise. It also fits the style of Dior Addict by Dior, NU by YSL, ABSOLU by Rochas, and BE DELICIOUS NIGHT by Donna Karan; pure elegance and beauty of scents that say, ‘I am the absolute and sensual elegance that touches the deepest carnal darkness’. This has a regal, powerful wood of oud and cedar sandalwood with that very powdery rose note sprinkled with patchouli, opening with very resinous, smoky vanilla and amber like medicinal ointment and some mystical camphor. It’s an aromatic beauty I found on offer and I’m going for more bottles of this delicious richness that left me fascinated and entranced in absolute pleasure. It’s very unisex, perfect for winter days or cool summer evenings after a fresh rain… It also fits the style of Versace’s OUD NOIR.
I love strong perfumes, and a friend said, ‘You have to try this, it lingers in the room for hours.’ That was enough to go and try it. It’s unconventional, which I liked. To me, it’s 100% unisex. It lasted more than 8 hours on my skin and days on clothes. On my skin, it smells different from the blotter. On the blotter, I detect more wood and it becomes powdery, reminding me of Kenzo Jungle when it smells of ‘rice pudding’. But on my skin, it turned sweeter and more feminine. Once dry, I only sensed sweet roses; it reminded me of Mancera’s Roses Vanille or its Zara dupe. Does anyone else sense this similarity? Because on my skin, it ended up being exactly the same. I noticed they share notes. Anyway, it’s rare. It’s not a blind buy. I loved it, but I believe it can change on the skin.
If you like florals, powdery, sweet, fruity, vanilla, intimate, clean, or fresh scents… stay away. To my taste, it’s one of the worst I’ve tried, as I enjoy creamy woody bases like sandalwood supporting fresh notes, but I sense almost pure wood here. I saw they declare many notes that, for me, didn’t exist. I tested it in-store because I read reviews, and luckily I didn’t buy blindly as I usually do; I couldn’t bear it from the start, had to go to the shopping centre bathroom to wash my arm three times, and it was still there. I wore Golden Decay by Zara and it didn’t cover it. By 3 hours, I was home and had washed my hands twice more, yet it was still right on my skin. So I don’t doubt it’s eternal in duration, but for me, it’s very rough. I don’t think the issue is that it’s masculine, but rather that it’s rough because it lacks balance; it seems it wasn’t harmoniously created, but rather they just thought about adding a lot of something long-lasting at the cost of a headache. Before washing, I smelled burnt wood; I wouldn’t want to smell like a fire, there are perfumes with smoky notes like Club de Nuit Woman or LouLou that I enjoy hugely, but in serious terms, a smell of burnt wood like a fire or crematorium. I hope no one is offended as everyone has different tastes. If you’re looking for enjoyable woods… then try Mon Guerlain or its similar, which I adore: Noir Seductive by Guess… vanilla not from the bakery, accompanied by woods, powdery, pleasant, delicate but with character.
I found exactly what I was looking for. After reading several reviews, I bought it blindly, fearing the versions I’d encountered. It’s a love-hate affair, but for me, it was love at first sniff. I’ve been searching for that special scent that isn’t always easy to find, and here it is. It’s special, uncommon, intense yet not invasive. It makes me feel good. It’s sweet, original, and refined—exactly what I wanted to wear. I’d use it every day, at any time of year. Thank you, Natura; it’s far superior to any import. I’ve already ordered a refill at an incredible price. I’m so happy.
As a man, I consider this a gem. What a lovely oud/rose combination; it’s delicate and perfectly niche. As Andrés Perfume says: SPECTACULAR, DIVINE.
Horrible. I bought it blindly seeking something intense with good longevity. Nothing to highlight, just a smell of burnt wood. I tried it and straight to the bin; not even worth giving to a friend.
Strong scent. If you enjoy intense fragrances, this is for you. The black pepper has a presence throughout the trail. To me, it smells very strong and leans masculine.
Smells like Initio’s Atomic Rose but much more wearable. It’s reminiscent of Lattafa’s Bade’e Al Oud Amethyst without that overpowering spice or intense rose; it’s more feminine and understated. I absolutely love it; it feels unisex to me. The wood doesn’t overwhelm, merely adorning a ripe rose with a spiced sweetness. If you wear intense fragrances, do so blindly; otherwise, don’t let the floral notes fool you as they aren’t the main event. I was initially scared by the reviews, expecting a heavy woody beast, but instead received a classic, feminine love potion.
Without exaggerating, it surpasses many designer scents. Incredible quality for a catalogue fragrance. It’s intense, mysterious, and unique. If you wear it, no one goes unnoticed; the sillage and projection make a statement. It lasts hours on skin and days on clothes. Note: it’s woody and unisex, not for tender facets or romantic dates, but to show off the sexy, empowered side. Ideal for outdoor events in autumn or winter. In enclosed spaces, be careful with the amount as it can be overpowering.
I treated a member of the public and a woman around 50 years old smelled exactly like Cacharel’s Amor Amor. I asked what she was wearing and, although she might have been confused, she told me it was this one. Haha.
Yesterday at a family gathering, I asked who was wearing Bharara King because it smelled the same. They looked at me strangely until my cousin clarified it was Essencial Oud. The resemblance is brutal.
It took me a while to warm up to it. It was very intense at first, but then I fell in love with its incredible performance. The pepper and woody notes are very present, yet refined and eternal. Don’t buy it blindly. It looks like a niche fragrance but is actually from a catalogue… INCREDIBLE. However, to my taste, it lacks a touch of sweetness. Spectacular and mysterious.
I tried this perfume and it didn’t grab me at all; of course, if you’re not a fan of unisex scents and prefer woody, spicy notes, you won’t like it. I like that it’s original, but it’s not for me.
I see Essencial Oud as ideal for a man until I found a sealed batch from 2019; the new version is more potent and dense, but the old one has a better rose essence, more prominent alongside the oud and balsam, plus dense vanilla without being sweet. Unfortunately, the new one feels flat—it’s just a pretty fragrance. The old one has character, a pity it’s impossible to get now. If you put it in a designer bottle, people will ignore it, except for the alcohol blast which lasts a minute. We’ll have to see if oxidation changes it or makes it denser, because the first hour projects so strongly it’s almost intimidating.
At first, I couldn’t stand it; it seemed too woody and strong, and easy to spot. On my skin, it gave me a headache and I had to stop using it, but I kept trying until I found the right way to wear it. Now it’s addictive—I don’t care if half the country uses it. 25ml lasts me a long time; it’s potent and not suitable for every day or season.
Honestly, I loved it at first sight. I’ve been wearing it for a couple of years now, and it’s so elegant, dark, and sophisticated that it’s not for everyone.
This perfume achieved everything YSL Libre failed to: depth, sophistication, and real feminine authority.
I tried this years ago and initially thought it was very masculine and strong, but years later I absolutely fell in love with it. On my skin, it’s super woody, and its longevity, sillage, and quality rival designer brands; plus, in Argentina it often comes with a good discount ☺️
