One of my favourites, something super intentional. It’s a super sensual fragrance for fresh weather, like a forest full of trees, denoted by the oakmoss. The neroli is juicy and so bright it stands out immensely, sensual and narcotic, extremely addictive. The honey is cold and super natural. It’s a sensual and sexual aroma that projects attraction and confidence; it suits whoever wears it. It’s for wooing the love of your life, forbidden in the club not because it lacks projection or longevity, but because it’s a work of art to enjoy and have others appreciate. Longevity and projection: excellent. Blind buy? Resounding yes. Scent: 10/10, Longevity: 8.5/10, Projection: 8.5/10, Sillage: 8. Price: expensive but worth every penny. Verdict: 10000% recommended.

What a delight. At first, it smells super soapy, but not like barbershop soap, rather like those Dove soaps, super clean. Then it becomes very cold and white, the scent that white would have, delicious though very feminine; still, I would use it without problems. On a woman, it’s absolutely stunning, a jewel with notable longevity.
What a delightful fragrance. On first sniff, the opening seemed super soapy, and indeed, I still perceive it that way, but not like a barbershop soap—more like those Dove soaps, that kind of clean. Then it evolves into a very cold, white perfume; if white had a scent, this would surely be it. It smells delicious, though it sounds very feminine; nevertheless, I would wear it without hesitation. On a woman, it’s absolutely stunning, a true jewel with notable longevity.
One of those few perfumes where, upon spraying, I knew it had to enter our collection. A warm, beautiful chypre with character where you notice every ingredient and even more. It’s a floral with yellow tints and a soft animal component, not civet or castoreum, but raw leather and a slightly dirty base. The ylang is fleshy and potent, blending with sweet honey that isn’t cloying, a carnal and tropical sweetness that combines perfectly with that animalic leather. The retro notes are inevitable and charming, but it’s so well-made it doesn’t smell like ‘grandma’ or outdated. Sarah Baker has a unique style and ‘Charade’ is a great way to get to know her. If you like chypres with an old-school air, it’s one of the best alternatives, alongside MDCI’s Chypre Palatin, being this version more extroverted and even perverse.
This is one of the few fragrances where, the moment I sprayed it, I knew I had to add it to my collection immediately. A warm, brilliant chypre with plenty of character; every declared note is present and more.
