Tulipe Noire is a classic, soft, and super wearable floral with a real spring vibe. It features exquisite neroli, a green opening from the rhubarb, and a very musky dry-down, though with a slight excess of ambroxan. I absolutely love the scent and the quality is evident, but it doesn’t offer anything new as there are many perfumes that smell the same. The longevity is limited, like other fragrances from this brand: lasting 4-5 hours with a sillage that stays close to the skin. Still, I liked it and it’s a good option for spring if you don’t have any green, fresh, slightly ambered neroli scents in your collection.
Tulipe Noire is a classic, soft, and very easy-to-wear floral, ideal for spring. It has exquisite neroli with a green opening from the rhubarb and a musky dry-down with a strong touch of ambroxan. The scent delighted me and the quality is noticeable, although it isn’t novel as there are many similar perfumes. The longevity is limited, as with other fragrances from this brand: around 4-5 hours with projection close to the skin. Nevertheless, I liked it and it’s a good option for spring if you don’t have green, fresh, slightly ambered neroli scents in your collection.
Today the perfume arrived and it smells very similar to Jo Malone’s Oud Wood and Bergamot. It’s floral, woody, and has a sweet touch without being overpowering. As it dries down, it becomes more balsamic and less sparkling, yet it still smells wonderful. I feel happy, although I initially thought it would be more intense. Anyway, I’m delighted with the purchase.
Today this fragrance arrived and it smells very much like the combination of oud and bergamot from Jo Malone. It is floral, woody, and has a sweet touch without being annoying. As it dries down, it becomes more balsamic and less sparkling, but it still smells great. I feel content, although at first I thought it would be more potent. In the end, I’m happy with the purchase.
