I tried a decant; the bottle is pretty, it smells good and has great projection, but on my skin it feels a bit masculine. It features mandarin, sea salt, amber and vanilla. It’s one of those perfumes you either love or hate; it didn’t impress me and I wouldn’t buy it blind.
What a beautiful scent! For years I hated the classic Olympea because of that intrusive salt that made it impossible for me to want that perfume. Miraculously, with the purchase of a perfume, they sent me a sample of the Olympea Aqua EDP Legere. Seeing it, I immediately tucked it away at the bottom of my drawer thinking: ‘Ugh, they’re sending me this ugly thing’. Well, weeks passed and one afternoon, bored and without having worn perfume, I decided to try this little scent. What to say: I loved it! It’s a jasmine-vanilla scent so, so beautiful that it has me intoxicated. The salt note, while present, is very modest, nothing overwhelming. The jasmine in this perfume is out of this world: it’s not angelic like Addict Eau Sensuelle, nor frantic like Gucci Bloom, perhaps more in the style of Alien EAU Extraordinaire. To all of you who have fled Olympea, I suggest you try this beauty; you’ll be captivated. And you’ll have perfume for hours and hours because it lasts a lifetime.
On my skin, the neroli blossom stands out, bathed in sea salt with an amber base. It’s very beautiful and I think it works well from the late 20s to the 50s. At a party of young people, whoever wears it stands out with great presence. It smells rich and is very sensual among the white florals.
On my skin, it highlights the neroli blossom very much, bathed in salt and an amber base… it’s very beautiful. I consider it works very well for a transition between the late 20s and early 50s. I don’t believe in perfume ages, but I can’t help feeling that at a party of young people, whoever wears this perfume would stand out with quite a presence. It smells very rich. Among white florals, it feels very sensual…
It’s one of those perfumes that I smell and my eyes roll back. The combination of vanilla and salt is one of the richest things I’ve ever smelled. It’s perfect for any season and time of day. It has me completely smitten; it’s the kind of oriental perfume perfect for me. It reminds me a lot of the classic Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum.
It gives me a whiff of vertigo; the blend of vanilla and sea salt is incredible. I love it for any occasion; it’s a perfect oriental that reminds me of the classic Roberto Cavalli.
Being a man, I thought it was a delicious perfume for a woman. It has incredible longevity and a projection of 10. It smells purely of flowers, aquatic as its name suggests and slightly citrusy. It’s a ten if you can get it at a good price; even at department store prices it’s excellent. I think it would be wonderful for any woman. It’s strong but so well balanced that it would be great in summer.
As a man, I find it delicious for a woman. The longevity and projection are 10/10; it smells of florals, aquatic and citrus notes. It’s worth it if you can get it cheap, but even at full price it’s excellent. It’s strong yet balanced, ideal for summer.
I’ll add (don’t get bored of me, please 🥺): the longevity is spectacular! It’s the first time I’ve had a perfume last so long on the skin and in summer, with all the sweating that implies. I applied Olympea Aqua at 10 am and now, at 2 am, I still feel my perfume as if I’d just applied it. My hair moves and appears decorating in a very beautiful way. It has a wonderful trail, you can smell it from over a metre away in a super friendly way. A real treat ❤️
It’s a marvel! 😍 One of the richest perfumes I’ve ever smelled; Olympea Aqua makes me and those around me sigh. It achieves something very special and particular with the classic sweet-salty game of the line, but here the flowers and solar notes give it a twist, making it more wearable, versatile and lighter than the traditional one. Also, I think the salt note is softer, achieving something beautiful alongside the vanilla. For me, Olympea Aqua is a tremendously evocative fragrance… My country has white sands and cold waters, and that’s how it feels: like a summer beach day on the central coast of Chile ☀️ The scent is like… taking a refreshing dip in the Pacific Ocean and then lying on the sand seeking the sun. For me, a lover of beaches, summer and the sea, I must say: I LOVE YOU Olympea Aqua! ❤️
What a wonder! Olympea Aqua smells rich to me and to everyone. The sweet-salty play with floral and solar notes makes it light and versatile. The salt is soft and combines brilliantly with the vanilla. It evokes the beaches of Chile: a dip in the Pacific followed by sun on the sand. I love you, Olympea Aqua!
It reminds me a bit of Halloween and smells nice, but it’s not surprising. I wouldn’t wear it; I think it’s more for an older woman.
I was expecting something fresher, which is my style. It smells nice, but for those who love florals, my boyfriend said it smells like an old lady, which isn’t a good sign. I sensed something metallic. I’ll give it a few days to test, but the scent made my head ache a bit, so I feel disappointed. The reviews promised salt and a sweet touch, which wasn’t the case.
Incredible, I wear it in the middle of summer and it doesn’t overwhelm me at all. Very rich, long-lasting and intense EDP. I’ve kept it saved for spring and summer.
Incredible that I can wear it in the middle of summer without feeling overwhelmed. It’s a rich EDP, long-lasting and intense, perfect for spring and summer.
The summer sister of Olympea. I absolutely love it for hot weather! It keeps the DNA of the original but is much more wearable for everyday life. Floral vanilla with a salty twist, a true delight.
Exquiiisitaaaa! I love this Olympea flanker. It’s so spring-like and summery. The scent of clementine with solar notes (haha, I don’t know what those notes are, but the aroma makes me smile and gives me happiness), together with the sea salt, vanilla and neroli blossom, create a spectacular scent. It sticks to clothes until the next day; I was walking and the scent reached me every minute. It’s tremendous, it lasted on my skin for over 10 hours… bravo! Paco Rabanne.
I prefer the traditional one, but it’s true that this projects and lasts much longer, at least 50% more, and it craves attention more in summer when the original Olympea gets tiring. I was going to decide between Legend and Aqua because I don’t like citrus. Edit: I bought Legend and couldn’t stand it; it smells very heavy of plum, like Jean Paul Gaultier. I need Aqua in my life.
Finally found an Olympea that I will love. I tried the Legend and, to my bad luck, it only smelled of plum, but this Aqua smells of clementine, jasmine, neroli blossom, vanilla and a tiny bit of sea salt. I loved it.
It just arrived. It was a blind buy, although I already knew other Olympea versions that I love. With this one, it was love at first sniff. Super delicious and addictive; I can’t stop smelling my wrist just from the sample. I’ll update when I’ve used it to check the longevity and sillage, but the scent is a 10. Edit: It lasts for hours! On skin, on clothes, in hair. It’s delicious; you can really smell the neroli blossom from the lemon tree and I love it. Super fresh and sexy.
I bought it blind and I loved it. It’s the summer version of Olympea mixed with Alien EDP. Literally smells like sweet jasmine with neroli water, baby perfume, a touch of vanilla and sea salt. It could easily be a sweet flanker of Alien. It also reminds me of Cacharel’s Catch Me, which I adore and try not to use too much because it’s discontinued. On my skin it has moderate-to-high longevity and projects for about 2 or 3 hours.
What a beautiful perfume! I bought it blind and it was the best choice. It’s the first one that lasts so long on my skin, easy all night and even into the next day; on clothes it can last for days even after washing. It’s unique, with that salty twist that doesn’t overwhelm and is super enjoyable (I don’t feel it’s soft at all, at least on my skin). For me and others alike, everyone will surely ask what I’m wearing. It’s elegant and sensual, I love it, enjoyable all year round, especially for going out at night.
What a wonderful perfume. It just arrived and I bought it along with Legend online because you can’t find it in the big department stores anymore. I knew Legend well, but I’d never smelled this Aqua Légère before, and it was a tremendous surprise: love at first sniff. It’s long-lasting, intense, very feminine and sensual. How is it possible that they don’t produce more treasures like Legend and this Aqua? I’ll never understand…
If you can’t stand the intensity of Mugler’s Alien but love its essence, you will adore this. They are very similar, but the Aqua is much more wearable and fresh; basically, it’s the summer version of Alien.
This is my favourite Olympea; it’s the perfect fusion of the classic and Alien. I wear it in spring and it lasts for ages, noticeable all over the body 😍.
I was absolutely blown away by this purchase, honestly. I grabbed it on a whim just because it was discontinued and the online price was fair. I already owned the regular Aqua (the frosted glass bottle) and didn’t give much thought to this Légère version, but what a surprise! It’s the Olympea I’ve loved the most so far. It opens with an incredibly crisp, sweet, and realistic clementine note. Then comes the sea salt with a gorgeous jasmine and a hint of vanilla, but the clementine lingers to give a light freshness, perfect for hot weather. It’s totally worth it; if you see a bottle, grab it without hesitation. It’s worlds away from the original, and I’m definitely going to buy another one.
