Tried yesterday afternoon thanks to a friend from Puig. Just to say: I like it. The opening is very fresh, citrusy, green and herbal, evolving into garden notes with flowers and a touch of sour apricot. It’s quite persistent, reminiscent of Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria. Perfect for spring and summer, very versatile. It’s not sweet; it’s green citrus but not volatile. The maté and ambrette give it a chocolatey yet herbal base. Reminds me a bit of Guerlain’s Green Lemon, but this Valentino is more incisive at first. Totally unisex and youthful. Ideal for sunny terraces, casual sporty style or work. It’s an all-rounder perfume, spot on against the heat and fairly exclusive.

The mate and ambrette give it a chocolatey yet herbal base. It recalls Guerlain’s Vert Citron though this Valentino is more incisive at the start. Totally unisex and youthful. Ideal for sunny terraces relaxed sporty style or work. A all-rounder perfume spot-on against the heat and fairly exclusive.
Ideal for summer heat. Smells of green tea with lemon, a hint of sugar and ginger. It’s green, citrusy and elegant. The only drawback is longevity and sillage: on my skin it lasts a maximum of three hours. The price is very high for what it offers.
Olfactory perceptions vary hugely. On my skin, it’s a fresh garden rose blended with yerba mate. It takes me back to my childhood, sitting on my mother’s terrace in Patagonia drinking mate amongst the rose bushes. For me, it lasts over six hours: moderate trail for the first four, then it clings to the skin.

Ginger, yerba mate and a shy rose. Fresh, incredibly fresh. It’s a scent to enjoy in solitude; if you want to turn heads, you’d be better off with something cloying like Good Girl.
Reading the other reviews, I’m surprised at how different our tastes are. It’s a stunning, elegant fragrance with a perfumed white rose that dominates. There’s a hint of yerba mate and fresh lemon, nothing too acidic. It’s super feminine; as it dries down, that strong rose takes on a yerba mate scent. I don’t detect any ginger. It’s incredibly fresh, perfect for hot days. It’s pure beauty, my favourite summer scent. The downside is they no longer make it. The trail is moderate but lasts around six hours.
It has been months without ceasing to surprise me how different we are. It’s a brutal perfume, super elegant, with a rose as the star that smells like scented white rose, with a hint of yerba mate and a bit of lemon that isn’t acidic but fresh. It’s super feminine; as it dries, that strong base of dried rose smells like yerba mate. I don’t notice the ginger. It’s incredibly fresh, ideal for the day, especially when it’s very hot. It’s a beauty. My favourite for summer. The downside is that it’s no longer sold. The projection is moderate but lasts about six hours.
This gem is no longer available, yet on my skin the flowers remain. The white rose shines at the heart, with the magnolia shyly peeking from the background. Petit grain and a hint of yerba mate rest upon a soft musk base. It’s the freshness of just having showered: clean, serene, unobtrusive yet unforgettable. Beautiful, with surprisingly long-lasting power for an eau de toilette.
