At first it smells like O’Cedar-style furniture cleaner, then leaves a trail of soft, ethereal wood – pleasant, but not my style. Very contained and refined, carefully assembled, though overall I’m not passionate about it; it feels quite linear and curious, without sparking much interest. Edit after going to work: my colleague (about a mile away) asked if someone had changed their cologne, so it projects much more than it seems, maintaining that soft, discreet sensation. It lasted over 8 hours in a misty back-and-forth without being overwhelming. The only thing I still don’t understand is justifying the €190 for the 86ml bottle.
