Starts sweet with a spicy hint, but the pepper soon takes over. Then it smells like a village shed: a mix of sweet motor oil, manure on the wheels, and straw. What peculiar creations these people from 27_87 have. After a few minutes, the sweetness returns, now cut by pepper and with a ginger roughness, though the latter isn’t the strongest. The pepper is, almost like a middle note that controls everything. Amber is present, and the caramel, well, it’s not the creamy kind. I don’t detect any rose at all. The dry-down is a sweet and soft scent where the pepper has vanished. It projects little, but after eight hours it still lingers on the wrist, which is rare, so it lasts well. They say it’s ‘confident and sensual’, well, if they say so. Perhaps it would work on a ‘Farmer seeking a wife’ date. It’s curious, but I wouldn’t buy it, not even at the price, because I don’t know when to wear it. I certainly wouldn’t go on a romantic date smelling of pepper or sweet manure, nor would I wear it to the office.
