It smells of strawberry shampoo and then cherry cream.
I just tried it, and while comments said the longevity wasn’t good, on my skin it lasted over six hours and I really liked the scent. The price is very high for the quality.
I just bought it; as a first impression, it seems to lack longevity and projection. I hope it concentrates over time. But it’s very rich and smells strongly of strawberry.
I own the Fraiche-inspired version and it smells delicious. There are many strawberries, one malted, but it’s not all sweet thanks to the woody touch that makes it appealing. It’s gourmand, yes, but it doesn’t cloy or bother. It lasts a long time, on clothes until you wash them or shower. I haven’t tried the original in-store because people say it doesn’t last, but on me it does. Even my mum shares it. 10/10.
It’s exactly the same as VS’s Midnight Bloom; I’ve had it for years and smelling it confirms it’s identical, perhaps for layering. It smells fruity yet also woody; I liked it, but it needs more than five sprays to last, which is why I say the VS version suits layering. It resembles Ariana’s Cloud, but Cloud has an aquatic touch this one lacks, while Baccarat has a spicier note on the nose.
Honestly, I don’t know why I bought it; it was an impulse purchase. I was going to restock my daily and ended up with this Burberry Her, which has nothing to do with my style (I was tempted to try something different). Fortunately, on my skin, the strawberries, cherries, or red fruits aren’t distinguishable… just an undefined acidic scent with a heavy patchouli finish that I don’t dislike. It has great projection, and I can still smell it close to my skin the next day. I’ll wear it in winter and at night.
Burberry Her is a journey through time, the scent imprinted in my memory of my childhood solid strawberry cream: talc-covered strawberries, beeswax, lard, and a whiff of baby perfume. On my skin, it’s neither sweet nor potent; it smells of creamy, powdery strawberries. Almost imperceptible nowadays, yet it lasts and radiates a subtle cloud for hours. It’s an impossible contradiction, and Francis Kurkdjian is the illusionist capable of creating it.
A Duty Free tester convinced me instantly. When I left, it smelled of strawberry with something more, creamy yet floral, without being cloying. As it dried, it settled into talc-covered strawberries and cherries, losing the floral aspect. It’s strange that I love a gourmand if I rarely use sweet scents, but this is a well-executed contrast. It smells like a doll without being childish; it’s refined, wearable, and sophisticated. I love it!
There’s no doubt it’s among the top ten most praised and purchased fragrances. Its notes are unique and appeal to most women.
Very refined and elegant. My favourite perfume. Suits any occasion.
I bought it because of the reviews claiming it was the most complimented, but it’s not much of a deal: it’s a sweet fruity scent that’s everywhere. On my skin, it doesn’t last long and leaves no trail; strawberry dominates.
Bought it for the good price, but I didn’t like it at all. Smells like burnt artificial strawberry, it’s odd. And the Intense version smells even worse, very artificial 🙁
I was greatly surprised by this type of fragrance. On me, it smells like delicious strawberry yoghurt, and I like the sillage when hands move. It is a perfume I quite liked, alongside the Ellis Bili which smells of chocolate; my favourite gourmet scents. I rarely like gourmet fragrances, but these two take the top spot.
I sniffed it once from the bottle and fell in love, so I ordered it without testing it on my skin. Big mistake. The opening is nice, but as it dries down it smells synthetic and alcoholic, like a girl’s perfume. That said, it lasts a long time on my skin. I wouldn’t buy it again.
I went to try it on the recommendation of a strawberry and cream scent and received the worst disappointment. It’s the most synthetic and unpleasant strawberry I’ve ever smelled, with very poor trail and longevity for the price.
A perfume that captivates; the quintessential strawberry scent. Soft, refreshing, with a youthful touch. If you enjoy strawberry in fragrances, this is the one for you: it’s not cheap or cloying; blended with citrus, it smells soft and elegant, perfect for spring and summer. On my skin, it doesn’t last long and has little sillage.
Pity I smelled it before buying. It smells of synthetic, unpleasant, strong strawberry with a powdery base. I didn’t like it at all.
Smells strongly of strawberry and tastes lovely, but it doesn’t last long.
It doesn’t sound as synthetic as others. It’s a tender strawberry with elegant woody notes. Incredible longevity for me (fragrances never last on me). There’s a similar one in Argentina, Ciel Magic; it’s not the same, but trying them together is worth it for the price.
A delicious perfume; starts elegant and sweet without being cloying, then leaves a trail of tender, almost childish strawberry. The opening and trail are wonderful, but on my sweaty skin it vanishes almost immediately (I sweat a lot), though if you hold it near your wrist it lasts all day.
The times I’ve tried it in-store, I could barely smell it. Later, I started identifying it many times on the street, and people I know use it almost as a signature scent, which is why I haven’t bought it. Besides, at this stage, it’s ubiquitous, and I can’t stop smelling it on the street. I consider it suitable for fresh days because in summer, I don’t know if it mixes with sweat and leaves a nasty trail that makes you wonder if the person is wearing an old 47 Street perfume or something; perhaps it has to do with that synthetic or metallic note. I would like to have it for fresh climates, but for now, it’s a no.
A soft but very feminine aroma. It’s true it can have a slightly synthetic strawberry scent, but not excessively, so it doesn’t bother me personally.
I tried this perfume; it’s a nightmare for me. This smell disgusts me to the point of giving me a headache; it smells like medicine, what a horrible thing. Try it before buying, as it’s not something to buy blindly.
It smells very nice, feminine, and slightly sweet, with good longevity.
I like it, but not on me so much. I feel it smells like that pink watch with the girls’ lipstick from the 90s. It’s nice, but not on me so much.
I like it much more at first than later, where its dry-down reminds me of the terrible fragrance Stradivarius used for years. The dry-down also reminds me of cheap colognes I’ve tried, inspired by this perfume which has quite a following, making it seem bland and unappealing to me. However, the first few hours are indeed pleasant. It smells like cotton candy with sweet red berries like raspberries, a white floral note, and that violet touch which blends well. The notes differ but are well combined. I suppose the cashmere gives it the powdery aspect and the woody notes a good base. It’s pleasant for daily wear, with nothing strident, but unfortunately, it has become too ‘basic’ due to its ubiquity. There are far too many cheap alternatives. Honestly, unless you absolutely love it, it’s not the time to wear it. Personally, I now detest this type of perfume.
I bought Burberry Her with high expectations. Although I initially found it synthetic and didn’t like it, I’ve grown to appreciate it over the months. I detect a sweet strawberry scent, similar to lip gloss, with a powdery touch. At first, it didn’t last, but keeping it in the dark has made it a powerful bomb now. There isn’t much difference from the Elixir; my friends praise it and love it. I enjoy it more now; it lasts and projects for over six hours. I’d give it a 7.5/10.
The scent is so synthetic it gives me a headache; it smells like plastic and artificiality, and I simply don’t enjoy it on anyone. The opening is strong, and although it evaporates quickly, the duration leaves me with a headache all day. It smells like rancid ambroxan, what a pity, because smelling of red berries and freshness is something girls really like.
I like this perfume, I think it must be due to an emotional memory. It smells like the Avon strawberry one we all used when we were little, especially the pinker part. It has that nostalgic touch, of a pretty girl who wants to look lovely without overdoing it, of those of us who want to be that little girl again who wanted to grow up and used to line her lips with her strawberry gloss.
Francis Kurkdjian seems to have reformulated his pestilent Rouge Baccarat, as this smells very similar. It’s strange that I love all his ingredients, yet something doesn’t add up; something has made this, instead of being beautiful, turn into a tedious, stinging, shrill, and vulgar nuisance. I can’t understand how Burberry, a brand I’ve never been a huge fan of, could produce something so ugly with a cheap lotion smell. I don’t like it even as an air freshener. The only positive is the simple, minimalist bottle, which is very beautiful, but what a shame about the insidiously horrendous contents.
Finally, I got it. The nicest thing is the bottle design. At first, the sillage overwhelms, but it becomes lovely once dry. It’s very girly and tender, garnering many compliments. It’s sweet. I wouldn’t keep it. It suits everything; it works very well in the office. I’d use it to burn through daily when you don’t know what to wear; it’s a versatile option because it’s sure to please others or for a work event that never fails. But no more. I prefer other scents from the Her line. The new intense version from this year in Argentina, with the opaque pink bottle, doesn’t work for me; it smells of a clothing store. I don’t like that scent on skin.
I love it; it’s cheerful, fresh yet huggable. I understand why so many people like it. It lasted on me for ages, and people could smell it even when I’d stopped wearing it. I’d buy it a thousand times over.
I bought it blind. I’d seen many negative reviews from friends and on TikTok, but even though I like it, it’s a very basic fragrance. If you like sweets, it’s a safe option. Even though it’s very popular, it remains rich.
I’m buying it for the second time; I’ve used up a 100ml bottle and bought another large one. It’s gorgeous. People say it’s synthetic and childish, but I disagree: it’s ultra-feminine, girly, and cute, but not childish. On my skin, it reads as jasmine with red fruits, refreshed by citrus. The jasmine has a very slight indolic touch. There’s soft patchouli and woody notes. It’s not simplistic; it’s transparent and airy, zero heaviness. Perfect for spring and summer afternoons. It lasts half a day, 5-6 hours without maceration, with decent projection even in mid-February. Ideal for layering; it pairs perfectly with Marshmallow Blush if you want to make it winter-friendly.
Although it has no gender or age, it feels youthful. The raspberry and strawberry with musk last all day. It leaves a strong trail; it’s the one that projects the most from my collection. It’s rich, not elegant, perfect for daily use. It can be invasive if overused. Great for a young girl.
It smells of strawberry soap or deodorant. It irritated my throat; I suspect it’s the ambroxan. There’s something sharp that doesn’t quite work for me, but if not for that, I’d buy the whole bottle. The scent is pretty and I like the bottle’s minimalism.
It starts like strawberry juice before giving way to floral and woody notes. It’s lovely, soft, and perfect for spring or summer, ideal for the office or a sunny café. I’m not entirely convinced by the hype, but the Petals version is better as it’s more oily and lasts longer.
It’s feminine and airy, smelling of a well-dressed pretty girl, with a hint of baby. It’s delicate, tender, sweet, and fresh. Strawberries and red fruits dominate with florals, vanilla, musk, and soft woods. It’s my signature scent and lasts a long time on clothes. Try it on skin; that’s where the magic lies.
Tired of heavy perfumes, I sought something fruity that didn’t overwhelm. It smells of fresh strawberries, not cake. It lasts and projects well, lingering on clothes. Recommended for everyday wear; buy blind or as a versatile option.
At first, I thought it was disgusting and left it gathering dust for two years, but now that sticky sweetness has vanished and it smells fantastic. If you don’t like it, let it mature for a while.
