An elegant perfume, not just for older ladies. Intense yet not suffocating, with just the right presence for a direct woman. Bear in mind, it’s not for everyone; if you prefer lighter scents, test it first. I bought it blind because on my Atlantic coast there are only pharmacies and I was missing something with character. I feared a heavy incense in the Arab style, but I trusted Victor & Rolf. At first, I thought nothing was coming out, almost smelling of cardboard, and with the summer heat I got grumpy looking for reviews. But then! From my skin emerged a divine elixir: solar coconut with delicate vanilla, nothing like the typical Hypnotic Poison. A few sprays only, but it deserves a place in the heart.

This flanker beats the original. It’s woody, smoky and aromatic. On my skin, the palo santo, incense, sunshine and vanilla stand out. The longevity and projection are top-notch. Plus, the bottle is a gem: it looks like a crystal ball with an amethyst cap, my birthstone, with magical colours.

It’s vanilla with pure jasmine; occasionally you can detect the palo santo, but nothing overwhelming or difficult. Personally, I loved it, even I who am not into these scents. Smells incredible ✨. Yes, it has something mystical, but it doesn’t smell like incense, which doesn’t suit me. It’s pure vanilla and jasmine; occasionally the palo santo comes through, but nothing overwhelming or difficult. Personally, I loved it, even though I’m not usually into these scents. Basically it’s incense and vanilla. The incense is so strong it smells more like a fireplace than a perfume. In this case, the original Good Fortune does it better: it has a distinct and beautiful floral, with more notes and everything better balanced.
Tested it this afternoon: it’s a blend of Alien’s jasmine with a Babycat-style incense. I’m not a huge fan of that jasmine, so I’ll pass on this one.
