To me, it smells citrusy, floral, and with those woody notes that give it a vintage touch; honestly, I love it.
A fragrance I used when I was young…
Sensus by Avon smells aromatic, spicy, and woody. It starts fresh and floral, with that classic herbal lavender that brings to mind the 80s and 90s YSL Jazz and Ralph Lauren Safari. Then the spices rise, a touch of nutmeg and coriander. In the dry down, it’s wood, amber, tobacco, and sandalwood. It’s a bit formal, but also works well for going out in spring or autumn. If you’re looking for something like the Jazz or Safari that you can’t find anymore, this is a great alternative; the price gives it away, but it smells wonderful. It lasted about 10 hours with normal projection.
SENSUS CLASSIC – AVON: Another Avon classic, ideal for the office. It smells modern and elegant, more suited to formal wear. The ingredients sound natural, it adds class and good taste, and it outperforms many current designer proposals. It resembles the original Ralph Lauren Safari, not the reformulated version, which makes it special. It’s a serious scent, neither too youthful nor too mature, for men aged 25 and up. It performs well: projects nicely for over two hours and lasts between six and seven hours. Alongside the Absolute by Avon, it’s one of the best if you’re looking for something versatile for all year round, for the office or going out. For scent, price, and longevity, it’s one of the best options. Scent: 9.0. Projection: good. Longevity: 6-7 hours. Highly recommended.
