Sensus Absolute by Avon

To be honest, this isn’t for everyone. At first, it’s quite intense, so apply it well in advance. It’s ideal for winter or rainy days; in the heat, it can be overpowering, although I wore it in the sun with a sweaty undershirt and it never lost its intensity. The woody notes are top-notch. Longevity: 10/10, Sillage: 9/10 (it can be too much in enclosed spaces, but it’s perfect outdoors). Scent: 10/10, Price: 10/10 (I bought it on a 2×1 offer with another Sensus). Would I buy it again? Yes, but I only see the Absolute Santal in the catalogue, so I’d like to check if there are any differences.

Just for the madman who sprays 20 times… What madness. I use only 5 (neck, back and wrists) and I already overwhelm half the world, lasting almost 8 hours. 😨

It is a simple aroma with three notes: synthetic oud, pepper, and leather. It is accessible and friendly for those who do not know oud. Excellent, a little treasure. Some will say it has no evolution or flair and is synthetic; yes, but I liked it. Less is more; it smells more expensive than it is. I have been teased a lot, and I tell them it is a gift I don’t remember the name of.

What is the difference between Sensus Absolute, Absolute by Elite, and Absolute by Exclusive, all from Avon? According to reviews, they are all the same fragrance.

I didn’t think a catalogue fragrance would surprise me. It’s an aromatic scent based on oud with spaced-out woods, and a very weak but perceptible leather note after a few minutes. It’s very linear and doesn’t change over time. It lasts eight hours on skin and more than twelve on clothes.

A fragrance that is totally woody and smells like a carpenter’s shop. I detect cedar, burnt caramel, vanilla, musk, and boot-shop leather. It is a hidden gem and, in my view, Avon’s best for men regarding longevity and sillage. I hope they reclassify it from women to men.

A generic scent that projects nothing. The sillage lasts at most half an hour before it clings to the skin. It smells like anything and offers no surprise. Try Absolute Santal instead; it is superior in every way.

A mature, woody and spiced aroma that smells good and that’s it. It’s not a hidden gem as YouTube’s Isra Moreno claims; it’s normal for its category. It has good longevity, but the projection is very poor, staying close to the skin the whole time. The only plus is the ridiculously low price. Price 9/10, Scent 6/10, Longevity 7/10, Projection 3/10. I’m not sure if I’d recommend it.

Sensus Absolute by Avon: smells good dry down, it is the best from the brand. It is a dark synthetic oud with woods and leather; for the price, it is a must-buy and will not let you down. Compared to Lattafa Raghba’s Opulent Oud, this Avon one is light years away; they are not the same but follow the same path. Raghba is a 10, this is a 6.5. It is not the best oud, but its scent and performance deliver. To project, you need to apply many sprays; I used 20 and it worked. Recommended.

Powerful synthetic oud aroma, but it is nothing to worry about. A rare find in the catalogue; it reminds me a lot of Mancera’s Aoud Vanille. I own both and they are very similar.
